Great Vegan Brunch - Edit
Lots of options. Big portions. Avocado toast was great, and the waffles were amazing. Fried breaded artichoke hearts were surprisingly tasty. Good vibe. Looking forward to going back.

Best Omelets - Edit
Come for the vegan omelets!!!! The omelets are awesome & their strawberry matcha is amazing. The pancakes are lacking a bit (or at least the pride style ones) and the “sausage” links were very dry and not very tasty. The tempeh bacon was alright! Would definitely come for the matcha and omelets again.

Yummy! - Edit
Everything was delicious, the price was pretty expensive, but there's a free parking lot across the way...so either cheaper food paid parking or expensive food free parking, make your choice.

Excellent vegan diner food - Edit
It’s pretty rare to find good vegan breakfast/diner food that isn’t just avocado toast/oatmeal. They knocked it out of the park

Good if you like fake meat - Edit
Most menu items use faux chicken, beef, etc., which I’m not a fan of but other enjoy. Relatively expensive for pretty basic food. Glad I tried it but will look elsewhere next time I’m in Seattle.

Fun and Yummy Quality Diner Food - Edit
We had TWW deliver some food a couple of times recently. We had French toast, waffles, pancakes, "scrambled eggs," potatoes, a sausage patty, and tempeh "bacon" for breakfast one day. Another day, we had the "meat loaf" and mashed potatoes, the "chiggen fettuccine, and one of the burgers with potato fries for supper. Everything was very tasty and enjoyable!
Read morePros: Breakfast classics! All vegan!
Cons: The fettuccine looked like linguine, unfortunately, The tempeh "bacon" was cut like sticks not strips.

Too expensive for what it is - Edit
When I arrived the Diner was really empty. One big group of ~6 people were here.
Read moreThe server just gave us the Menue and it took him ~15 minutes until asking for food.
Several times he just stand behind the desk, and wasn’t really doing anything.
Came a bit after 3 and asked for breakfast which is served until 3. server said no breakfast anymore.
All the dishes were really expensive.
So I just had the truffle fries. They were okay. My child had Mac‘n cheese. They claimed it was housemade but I don’t really beliefe because they’re tasting 1:1 like the goodness pasta in Vegan.
Pros: Parking spot
Cons: Slow staff, Too expensive for bad quality , Mostly processed food, too less veggies

Pretty good - Edit
The French toast was great, and service was fast and friendly. I could only eat one bite of the tempeh bacon though -- I’m not sure how it was supposed to be bacon-like, it was very granular and not flavorful. I’ve had great tempeh bacon on burgers elsewhere.

Outstanding vegan fare! - Edit
The menu is very diverse, the portion sizes are huge, there are lots of gluten-free options, the prices are very reasonable for what you're getting, and the service and ambiance are wonderful. It's no wonder why they've won Best of the Pacific Northwest honors at least twice. Even the meat eaters would be highly satisfied. I can't wait to come back!

Wayward is dead to me. - Edit
The old Wayward was a cornerstone of the Seattle vegan community, which the owners were a part of. I was devastated when it closed + thrilled when someone swooped in + resurrected it. Unfortunately, that someone is a meat eating, right wing, anti-vax, climate change denier in Mercer Island. He changed the recipes + hiked the prices by A LOT. I’d rather spend my $$ at a restaurant run by someone who didn’t vote for Trump.

This is the 4th iteration of Wayward Cafe. Far removed from its humble beginnings. I miss when Wayward was at the 5253 University Wy NE location.

Incredible! - Edit
Delectable vegan food! The drumsticks with thai chili sauce and hot hunny were insanely delicious! Our server, who was so kind, recommended the Hillbilly omelette and the Crunchy wrap. Jim and I both absolutely LOVED the wrap! Perfect texture and taste! The omelette was also very flavorful and balanced! I highly recommend checking out the Wayward Vegan when in Seattle! 🌿

Vegan Denny’s - Edit
Longtime vegetarian, vegan for the last two years, found himself reliving breakfast memories at Denny’s. We had a good vegan junk food breakfast with appropriate the appropriate, “I ate all that?” feelings after. It was wonderfully average.

Makes me wish I lived in Seattle! - Edit
Wayward Vegan is conveniently located just a couple of blocks from the train station and very easy to find. They have a weekend brunch menu but you can also order from their regular menu. Everything looked so good that we decided to split the difference and had a dish from each menu. From the brunch menu we had the Hillbilly omelette and from the dinner menu we had the Infamous bowl. Both were fantastic. We just wish we had more time in Seattle so we could enjoy more of the lusciousness this restaurant has to offer. Bliss.

So good we went twice! - Edit
We went here for brunch and ordered the benedict and country fried chicken. Both were delicious and portions were huge. Orange juice or coffee was complimentary and the juice was delicious and refreshing. We actually came back for lunch that day since there were so many options and we wanted to try more! I got the rueben with fries and my fiancee got the chico melt with fries. Both were delicious and the fries were amazing!

Must stop in Seattle - Edit
Place is great, delicious and hearty breakfast. This will be a staple when visiting Seattle. This place has redeemed Seattle because up until this I have been quite underwhelmed with the Vegan scene here. Phenomenal service as well.

The food was sooo good! Got to try the French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries, chicken and waffles. Everything was great. However, the service was pretty disorganized. They forgot about our drink order and we did need to get our own utensils.

They weren't able to confirm if they had sugar that was refined without bone char because the chef was away, but would be great to know. Fully vegan place otherwise!
