Cute quirky vegan friendly! - Edit
I’ve visited Savannah a few times & never came by. I regretted it after having their vegan breakfast burrito today. I split it with my partner and truly enjoyed it. It isn’t really spicy so I recommend adding some cholula if you prefer spice! Regardless I’ll be back next time I stop by Savannah.

Local place to see - Edit
This reminded me of being veggie in the late 1990’s (as I was) and the kind of spots I found. Ingredients mostly local and fresh, good but kind of bland tofu scramble in crumbly but tasty corn tortillas. I’d go again if in the area and try something else. Lime tree on the patio!

So stoked on the many vegan dishes and options as well as the overall cool vibe of the employees and the space itself. The growing vegan seen in Savannah makes me want to come spend some time there and help grow it even more!

Went here for a yummy Sunday brunch & the vegan pancakes of the day did not disappoint. Also could grab vegan breakfast burrito or tacos.

Sentient and Amazing! - Edit
The Sentient Bean had been one of our staple spots in Savannah for years. Great vegan and omnivore options. The food is delicious, ample desserts and baked goods, great staff and reasonable prices.

Breakfast burrito, tofu tacos, 2 baked goods, and 2 giant soy lattes (about the size of a Starbucks Venti but for about $3 less) was around $40, including tip!
That's an amazing local bargain in the area for top tier vittles.
This place is a must for vegan travelers!

Several vegan items on the regular menu. We had the BBQ tofu tacos and the vegan breakfast burrito. Both excellent and flavorful. Coffee was great too, with a few different non-dairy milk options. Would recommend stopping by if you’re in town, it’s just on the south end of Forsyth park.

Nice amount of vegan options however me and my partner both ordered the exact same thing and his came on a plate with sauce but mine came in a takeaway box with no sauce which we found a bit strange? It was tasty and service was okay.

Vegan Options and Great Atmosphere! - Edit
Loved the atmosphere and all the vegan options! At least half the options in the bakery case were vegan when I went. I had the breakfast tacos, which were overall good but could have used a sauce. No major complaints though! Looking forward to coming back for the vegan breakfast burrito

Was expecting so much more. This place could do a lot better with some love investment. We had a special bowl. It was overloaded with spinach and had about two roasted brussel sprouts. Lacked taste and substance. Suggest being more generous and perhaps some nice gentle jazz music inside and better decor. Also back patio could really be improved.

We were spending the night in the parking lot across the street, and came in here in the morning for some coffee and breakfast and we’re NOT disappointed. We got the vegan breakfast tacos and vegan breakfast burrito and they were both delicious. The staff was pleasant, the cafe had decent wifi, so all around great!

I loved their menu, lots of vegetarian options and a few vegan options. We had the vegan breakfast burritos and some delicious coffee. Burritos were well made and seasoned nicely.

Great for pastries and coffee/tea. Meals are ok, most of the vegan options are spicy.
Read moreGood location if you don’t want to head into the busy part of the city. Still busy but you can at least find parking if your just driving in for a bite.
Service was pretty quick even with a lot of customers.
Pros: About an equal amount of vegan and vegetarian item, Great cafe drinks, Great pastries
Cons: Both vegan breakfasts items are spicy.

Good place for vegan food in Savannah - Edit
I got the hot apple chai-der and the tofu scramble tacos. The tacos were alright. They lacked flavor a bit. The chai-der was good. I enjoyed their outdoor space in the back. Definitely would come back here.
