Spicy Tempeh Needs Spice - Edit
I had the Spicy Tempeh wrap, but it was mostly rice and shredded carrots, not much Tempeh and little spice (I added hot sauce). The side of peanut sauce was very bland too.

Good Juices, Açaí Bowls & Plant Based foods - Edit
This place is just around the corner from Ziggy’s Vegan. We tried the Citrus Detox, it was delicious. Their juices come in a glass bottle. (No plastic 🙌)

Mostly NOT vegan (even when some ingredients are labeled vegan) - Edit
According to the people working here, most items that are labeled plant-based are NOT vegan, even if they have labeled vegan ingredients like vegan mayo or cashew cheese and no obvious non-vegan ingredients. The vegan options are actually very limited and much less appealing than the many almost-but-still-not-vegan options. As dedicated vegans we experience ordering here as an experience of false excitement then disappointment. This generally happens every time we come here, so we don't often.

Fresh and Tasty - Edit
The bowls are good, I’ve got no complaints. They also offer some savory food items in their deli case like sesame ginger noodles that look good. The location and space are nice too. Definitely stop here if you want something healthy and tasty.

Pretty solid - Edit
This was a convenient place to stop for a non-greasy lunch between Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara.
Read moreMy partner enjoyed her juice and avo toast a lot, but the "Mexican bowl" was almost flavorless. It needed lime juice, salsa, or something else for flavor. That said, I probably could have ordered something else I would have liked more. I think my brother liked his açai bowl fine.

The interior is very modern and clean. Staff are friendly and this is a busy morning stop off where we went twice both mornings we were in paso it was so good we went back for more.
Read moreThe açai was so fresh and refreshing. The juices were very tasty too just what you need to detox after the grape juice that is so abundant in Paso Robles.

Many vegan options, including bowls, wraps, açaí bowls, and smoothies. The juices are very delicious. Honey is used in some items, but menu items are clearly labeled.

Very tasty! - Edit
Not many options left, but we got the matcha waffle and two blackened caesar wraps very good!! They had a fridge of food not freshly prepared but relatively tasty. 😋

Not all plant based. - Edit
The description says “plant based food”. It’s very misleading. They use eggs to too certain bowls for “extra protein”. Everything else they say is vegan. Friendly people but misleading menus and description.

I stopped in for a juice and ended up having the Cacao almond mylk on a hot summer day. It was delicious! The menu made me wish I was hungrier, with all the plant based options to choose from.

Açaí bowls - Edit
What’s not to like? Acai and pitaya bowls with vegan granola that you can get unsweetened! I had the Palm Street Bowl. It was very good. They have two sizes. I got the bigger one. They also have smoothies, juices, and coffee. I’d definitely go again.

My new favorite smoothie, treat and healthy eats spot - Edit
Looking for breakfast smoothie in the run, found this place thanks to its listing here on Happy Cow. SO glad to have found it! All vegan except honey in some menu items, but all items can be made to order so it’s no problem to omit honey. My shot was warming and my first smoothie (Morro Rock - Think peanut butter, banana and chocolate, but there’s more to it.) and it tasted fresh, felt smooth and was delicious. Perhaps even better, the staff was both friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll be back, and suspect my college kid vegetarian will spend her summer paychecks here.
