Desserts are where it's at - Edit
The food is good, but never quite perfect in my opinion. The desserts, however, are incredible. Hands down the best cakes and cookies I have ever had in my life. Worth going just to get some desserts. I also like their burrito and power-up bowl, but I'd avoid the mac and cheese (a little thin and overcooked). I would still go here any day and recommend it to anyone-- I guess I just know what I like. I prefer their other location, the Detroit Street Filling Station (across the street).

Delicous, fresh vegan food with gluten free options - Edit
I've eaten here several times and I've always had very fresh and nice tasting food. They have a variety of salad dressings and other types of dressings that make the food taste extra good. You can order online and pick up your food which is very helpful. This is a very popular restaurant and normally quite busy. The staff in my experience has been friendly and helpful. Their soup (especially the butternut squash) and the chili is super good.
Read morePros: Very fresh produce used, Yummy sauces Online ordering available, Gluten free & allegen free options available
Cons: I wish they used organic produce. , Online ordering is not always available.

Super healthy and unique - Edit
We loved the way they took “standard” dishes and put a unique, healthy and delicious spin on them. They have a huge selection of raw options and a wide variety of house made baked goods. For the younger, pickier kids it is a little difficult because they may not be huge fans of things like the Mac and cheese that they usually love, since things are made differently than the “standard.” but there are a lot of the dishes that any kid would love, just prepare them to not expect the norm!

Cons: A little pricy

Not as good as I expected - Edit
I love Detroit Street Fillings Station and expected the lunchroom to equally blow my mind, but it didn’t. I’ll give it this: the vegan Mac n cheese was one of the best I’ve eaten. It was unbelievably creamy and delicious. However, the two sandwiches I tried - the chicken ranch wrap and TLT - were just not that good. I will go back and try more. Hopefully I’ll be able to increase my ranking to four stars if they Reuben is everything it claims to be.

All time fave. - Edit
Soo comfy and cute, super friendly, and awesome food. Probably my fave plant-based restaurant of all time, they set a standard for casual vegan dining. The treetop tempeh Reuben is probs my fave, and I’m always checking out the pastry case. If you come during a busy time be prepared to wait a few, be conscientious and order before you find a seat.

Reliable Vegan Goodness - Edit
We took our non vegan/vegan curious family members here on a road trip to the west side of the state and fueled up knowing it would be slim pickins down the road. We got the powered up kale bowl, pad thai, and the beet burger as well as five different desserts (cookies and brownies). Everyone was thrilled and we felt extra vindicated for getting off of I-94 to grab some food in the Arb while the other car in our group just stopped at Burger King.

My favorite. Where we go to get dessert. - Edit
Love the dessert options. I always am conflicted what to get— Reuben? TLT? Bowls? Soup? Pad Thai? The special? Portions very large. On pricey side but worth it- they seem to support their staff well and give back to the community in various ways. Unlike other vegan restaurants they don’t try to drown dishes with vegan cheese which I like too.

Great food, especially the baked goods! - Edit
The menu isn't huge but it has many good options. We like the nachos, the Mac & cheese isn't our favorite (it's not very cheesy).

This place has some of the best vegan food I’ve ever eaten- I come here all the time and everything I’ve eaten is superb and the serving sizes are fairly large so worth the price. Their desserts are also great. The staff is really nice and I recommend it to anyone who wants some great vegan food.

Super Yummy! - Edit
The best vegan food and perhaps the only vegan food in Ann Arbor. I love the mac n cheese and it is perhaps the closest to real cheese flavor I've ever experienced. I like to get a side of grilled tempeh and crumble it up in there. The only downside is that it does run on the more expensive side, but knowing that your money is going to something so positive in the community makes up for it.

100% outstanding vegan food and amazing mojitos to boot! The Banh Mi is scrumptious, and the Treetown tempeh Reuben delicious. So excellent in fact, that two nights later, we returned and ordered identical meals! Service was terrific, and all employees were friendly and helpful.

Best vegan restaurant in Ann Arbor - Edit
I love this place. I would recommend the grilled queso burrito (with tempeh added) and the power bowl. They're food is delicious and made with quality ingredients, but the baked goods are the absolute best! Baked goods are always rotating, one of the best desserts I've had was a basil strawberry donut, but you won't be disappointed with whatever they have at the moment.
