Little Kim is a cute, delicious spot

This sister restaurant to Miss Kim sports a cheerfully pan-Asian vegetarian menu where most of the menu can be made vegan.

The vegetable-forward fare is fresh and full of thoughtfully cooked and seasoned vegetables and legumes. I had the tofu bowl for lunch and was impressed with the variety of flavor and the sauce on top of the tofu. I left feeling full and satisfied with my meal.

The space, which previously housed The Lunch Room, is minimalist and clean with a fair amount of seating for the relatively small space. There are a variety of fun grab-and-go drinks and snacks available.

As it is part of the Zingerman's family of businesses, you can expect some familiar faces around as well as their delicious bread for the sandwiches.

I will say it is on the pricer side for a lunch, but the quality and diversity of the ingredients and thoughtful preparation helps justify it.

It's worth noting that Chef Ji Hye Kim was a James Beard semifinalist in 2025, so she must be doing something right.

This just opened in late July 2025, so I'm sure there are some kinks to iron out and that their menu will adjust (it may also seasonally change). But certainly it is nice to have another fully vegetarian restaurant in stakehouse-fond Ann Arbor!

Pros: Vegetables cooked well with a nice crunch, Filling; nice portions, Spotlights local farmers and producers

Cons: Slightly pricey
