Nice chilled out cafe! - Edit
Nice chilled out vibes and excellent coffee. Probably the 3rd best coffee I have had in my life after on Hawaii in 2010 and Paris in 2016! Shame they don’t do pastries anymore since new management took over! Please bring back the croissants!

cute little cafe - Edit
Came for breakfast in a group of 6. The cafe is small with a tiny kitchen but a lovely space. 4 of us ordered the carrot "salmon" lox on toast with cream cheese & chives. Unfortunately none of us were very impressed with it as it had no fishy taste at all, just lemon. There weren't any chives either, and I felt £7.50 for one piece of toast with cream cheese and carrot was not very good value. It was beautifully presented however. The hot drinks were good although a little small for their price.

Exquisite - Edit
I had one of the best breakfasts and I had scrambled tofu and I must say I do not like tofu and corriander but I ate all of it. It was mouthwatering. That’s what I call excellent food.
Read moreSo impressed, I even didn’t know everything is vegan in the café. Me and my partner wanted to visit for a long time as I like the interior and oh my all about it is perfect.
I am so happy honestly to find this place as I am a foodie and always in search of delicious food and this is in my top 5 places in Brighton.
Well done to the staff. It’s fantastic place to eat and I highly recommend it especially if you don’t like tofu like me this is the place it will change your mind.

Best scrambled tofu and smashed avocado on toast I’ve ever had! Raw “snickers” was exceptional and very generous and filling portion. Hot chocolate the right level of bitter sweet in my opinion.

Delicious - Edit
Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch I had here on Sunday. It was rather chilly out and the cafe was warm and inviting. My tagine was really flavourful and the bread that came with was delicious (rye with sunflower seeds). Lovely local apple juice to go with it.

Perfect little vegan cafe - Edit
Really friendly staff and delicious vegan breakfast/lunch menu. Good coffee too! We live in London and stayed in Brighton just for one night and went here for lunch when we arrived and came back the morning after for breakfast before catching the train home. The chef (possibly also the owner) was super friendly and helpful and recommended places to go out whilst there. Everything is yummy, really nice sourdough breads, tofu scramble, avo on toast, juices. If I lived Brighton I'd be coming back every week!

Loved It - Edit
My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in Brighton recently and we loved this place so much we visited twice. The first time we just had coffees, but the second time we ordered breakfast - I had a buckwheat pancake dish and my boyfriend had avocado toast with a tofu scramble. Everything was amazing and we loved the overall atmosphere/vibe.

I've been to the long house a few times now, and always thoroughly enjoyed myself. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the food is top notch. I also heartily recommend the hot drinks. The jerk sweet potato curry is the best I've ever had. I loved the decor as well, simple and elegant.

Mainly breakfast place. The full breakfast was great: big slice of sourdough bread with avocado smash, scrambled tofu, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes with pesto. And it was good to have vegan Danish pastries.

Great new place! - Edit
Popped in today, their first day, to grab a sandwich but it was a such a nice vibe that I stayed and had an amazing hot chocolate too! Really tasty, decent size sourdough sandwiches with imaginative filling ideas, good looking cakes and I can't wait to try the brunch options, especially the pancakes. Friendly-feeling locally made pottery to eat and drink from, just the right music and enthusiastic staff made for a really good first impression. You'll come for the food but you'll stare at the succulents :D
