More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I can avoid being resposible for the suffering and death of other animals, just by being vegan. Why would I not do that?

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Together we create a fantastically useful tool for our community, supporting veganism and helping each other find great food wherever we go.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

We'd love to visit South America, India, every single Caribbean island and lots of other places that are warm and sunny :-) We liked visiting Thailand because it was so easy to get vegan food, despite the languages being so different.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Vego bars, Fry's hot dog sausages, Tofutti Cuties (RIP), Basil Tofu, and anything spicy!

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

100 Acts of Minor Dissent - Mark Thomas Viva La Revolution - Mark Steel Anarchism and other Essays - Emma Goldman The Colour Purple - Alice Walker Honourable Friends - Caroline Lucas Everyday Sexism - Laura Bates The Establishment - Owen Jones The Long, Dark Teatime of the Soul - Douglas Adams Sandman graphic novels, Neverwhere and Coraline - Neil Gaiman
