I tried Land of Kush while visiting Baltimore, unfortunately it was just not for me. I tried the ribs, Mac, and candied yams. The Mac was odd, strange texture and aftertaste. The other two were alright, just a bit too saucy and sweet for me, I probably made a bad choice on what I ordered, lots of things on the menu did look better. On the plus side, portions were massive for anyone real hungry trying it out.
Read moreI also ordered corn bread but they forgot to include it. The carrot cake which they get from another local producer was delicious, best part of my meal. Overall a bit too pricey for something I didn't enjoy very much. I did get it delivered so the texture of the items might have changed in transit.

The entire menu is vegan. As vegetarian tourist in this part of the country, I enjoyed the "crab" cakes. The workers were friendly and helpful. Don't skip the candied yams, my favorite item!

so okay, I got the chicken salad wrap which tasted pretty good but still made me feel sick (idk maybe too much mayo?) with a live kale Salad. salad is WAY too garlicky and honestly just tasted gross it was like taking a spoonful of a jarred minced garlic BLEH. then for dinner we ordered the special platter that is not worth 17 dollars. bbq ribs, kale salad, and macaroni. the macaroni is DISGUSTING its not macaroni and cheese it's macaroni and weird white crumbles and looks extremely unappetizing it looks like gruel! the only thing that was actually good was the BBQ ribs BUT IT GETS BETTER!! as I'm biting into the last soy chunk I pull a hair out of my mouth!!! what the heck!! it is a long black hair and my family is blonde and only men with black hair were serving me and they all had short hair so.. whoever prepares the food does not wear a Hair net. I feel disgusting and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I loved.

Everything we had was great! Chickpea burger was a bit spicy, perfect for us! My husband eats gluten-free and got his on spinach wrap. Kinda wish I did too, the white bun was nothing special. (I ate most of it without bun actually, yum!)

Wonderful southern vegan cooking. Great Mac and cheez, awesome collard greens and the carrot tuna was excellent. Vegan ribs were ok, the curry chicken was ok and the crab cakes are best with hot sauce. Definitely worth your consideration if you’re in town

A Hidden Gem with 5-star Customer Service ! - Edit
First off, I want to start off by saying the the customer service here was amazing. I’ll give them a 10 out of 10 for that alone. This was my first time at this establishment, and the employees were amazingly kind and hospitable! I told the employee working the front desk that this is my first time here, and she prepared a sample platter of every single item from the menu without me asking!

1st time here. I was able to find street parking. I wasn’t impressed by what I was seeing on the outside, or the inside of this location. People who worried here were friendly and helpful with suggestions. I ordered the BBQ platter and Chick’n tenders. Customer service was just “ok” I came in with enthusiasm and expressed to the server I was in from out of town just to try out their food but she wasn’t fazed. Another male server had more uplifting input about the food they offered. I got the ribs, Mac n cheese and collard greens with a piece of corn bread. The ribs had great bbq flavor and the sauce had a twang to it. See below for the rest of the food. I also had fresh pineapple just with a splash of ginger and it was delicious.

We stopped here on the way to the airport and it was a great meal! We each got a special platter and everything was so good! Mine was BBQ Kush ribs, collards, and mac & cheese. All stellar and flavorful! He got the black-eye pea fritters, yams, and curried cabbage - also all great! The only disappointment was that they were out of cornbread and the iced tea was sweet tea (it didn't say sweet on the menu, and I didn't think to ask). I will come back next time I'm here!

The food is well-seasoned and delicious. The BBQ ribs and collard greens are particular standouts. The mac and cheese would benefit from a little more zing. It’s creamy but fairly flat, IMO. Other than that, everything is perfect! A real gem in Baltimore.

Everything here is amazing! Crabcakes for me are the way to go & Sorrel to drink; chicken drummies are my second go to (in the past these have only been available on weekends). Also love the ribs & gravy/lentil patties, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the food choices here. Not much seating, Street metered parking, friendly crowd, go now & go often!
