Great Tea Selection + Vegan Noodle Bowls - Edit
Since giving up coffee, I'm a huge fan of herbal teas and Chai in particular. A rare find in a coffee shop.. they have decaf Chai here! It's Canyon Chai (herbal, decaf). They also have Masala and Fireside chai (caffeinated). Tea selection is outstanding!
Read moreCome for the Ramen Noodle Bowls! They're served from 11 a.m. to 2 pm. They have a base broth of mushrooms, onions, garlic, kombu, and herbs. They have many broth choices that are vegan, like vegetable, japanese miso or the Thai curry. Then you pick your noodles and your protein. You can get vegetable (which doubles the amount of vegetables) or tofu.
They have fresh juices made to order, and smoothies made with real fruit not from a concentrate.
They have energy balls, gluten-free donuts, and a baklava.
Cons: The only thing I didn't care for was the wording on their website. They brag about having so many gluten-free offerings, yet the word "vegan" is mentioned nowhere. They say, "Many of our offerings are gluten-free and we work hard to accommodate all food allergies and restrictions." Being vegan is not a "restriction," it's choosing the path of non-violence and deciding to go through life causing the least amount of suffering to other creatures possible. It would be nice if instead they said "we have vegan and vegetarian options too."
Still, a big thumbs up!
