Excellent - Edit
We had a lovely time at The Green Rocket. The risotto was creamy and tasty, but the burger could be better. The pistachio tart was amazing—probably the best vegan dessert I’ve ever had.

Crimble Crumble ☕️ - Edit
We stopped by at The Green Rocket cafe for a quick tea break. We ordered the crumble and some padron peppers, which were both amazing and great portion size. The atmosphere of the cafe was very lovely and the staff were all so friendly. It is based very close to Bath Spa station. Would definitely recommend!

This place in the heart of Bath is a little gem. Had a great restaurant meal in the evening with a nice glass of vegan Pinot Grigio 🙂 The menu has so many nice and varied choices and the deserts are superb. Highly recommend.

Exceptional vegan cafe - Edit
We stopped on for a quick lunch here and I was so impressed by the Caesar salad (felt very ‘odd school vegan’ with tempeh and coconut bacon 😋 ). The mushroom tacos were a good size and the spicy sauce was so so good. Really cute venue too - felt very local and homely but with solid food options.

We went to the Green Rocket cafe for brunch while visiting Bath.
Read moreThe staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was great!
I got the salmon lox on an English muffin which was full of flavour, however, the muffin was soggy and fell apart when I tried to eat it.
My partner got the mushrooms on toast which were really favourable and hearty!!
They also stock some great kombucha.
Pros: Lovely atmosphere, Tasty food
Cons: Soggy muffin

Disappointed - Edit
This is a lovely little cafe and we’ve often had lunch here when we’re in Bath. The quality of the cooking isn’t always up to standard though. Yesterday my miso glazed aubergine was terribly tough. It was so chewy I had to leave most of it and I only ate what I ate because I was hungry, not because I was enjoying it. There was so much rich sweet sauce on the plate that I had to leave quite a bit of the sodden sticky rice too. Aubergine should be well cooked - melty and luscious - this wasn’t. I can still taste the sauce in my mouth now the following morning: overuse of garlic powder maybe? Very unpleasant.
Read moreThere’s also very few pulses on the menu. I’ve had roast veggies with lentils before and found the lentils were merely a decorative sprinkle. Makes me wonder if the chef is actually vegetarian. It’s not as if they’re an expensive ingredient!
Pros: Nice atmosphere , Nice staff, Menu fine in theory
Cons: Savoury food often too sweet, Lack of pulses, Cooking not always up to standard

Frosty Start to the Day - Edit
It was disappointing really. The bread I was given wasn't the one I had asked for and the scrambled tofu was very salty with little actual flavour. Plus it cost a fortune for breakfast, and I only had toast, scramble plus herbal tea for almost twelve pounds. Maybe I should have tried a breakfast main or bowl instead.

One of the best Vegan breakfasts I've ever had. The Monster Brekky is a winner. Great coffee, friendly service and bustling atmosphere. Might hang around for lunch, which looks equally amazing.

Vegan Gnocchi compelled me to Wtite this Review! - Edit
My sister and I visited Bath, England last year and we stayed around the corner from the Green Rocket Cafe - lucky us! We are both vegan and always do our homework before we visit cities in all the countries we travel to. We enjoyed a late lunch at the Green Rocket Cafe after a tour in some of the Cotswolds Villages. And oh my - their vegan gnocchi was so delicious I still think about it a year later! Bath actually offered several vegan dining options for us. We loved Bath and would definitely recommend the Green Rocket Cafe for breakfast or lunch if you are looking for a casual dining experience.

Small place in beautiful spot close to the river. Food was delicious (we ordered the burger, green curry and sticky toffee desert), staff was correct but bit slow. We will go there the next time without doubts!

My go-to is the classroom salad. It is divine. Light yet filling, which sounds bizarre, but still true. The staff are lovely and very accommodating.
