Nice restaurant, more spacious than it looks from outside with a cute backyard seating area. The main I had wasn’t the most flavorful and not spicy, as advertised, but the drink was very refreshing and the cheesecake delicious.

We were in the area during the afternoon, so we stopped by for a cake and coffee.

I found the service a bit slow considering that there were just a couple of other tables taken, so that's something that could be improved.

Dropped in for lunch and took the opportunity to try their lunch special and €10.
Read moreI got gyoza followed by a quinoa burger and I got some sweet potato fries (I didn’t think the burger came with fries, it does!). Opted for a glass of red which was slight cheaper as it could be added to the deal
Starts was grand and the main was pretty good. The sort of burger that needs a nice and fork as it wasn’t haha solid, but it was all the better for that, moist with lots of flavour.
A good healthy option which I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to.
And I did come back. A good evening meal over a year after my first visit. Everything was good but lacked creativity. It has the feel of a chain restaurant, I just think it would take very little, to make it great. Nice staff again.

The atmosphere is very nice and the location central! The menu is very wel studied, I suggest the lagareiro, a local fish dish made by marinated tofu wich was very very good and tasty! The place is very chic and the atmosphere sophisticated

We went here twice: once for an Aperitivo and once for lunch. In both cases we liked the food and the place a lot. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is kind and fast. Fully recommended!

At first glance this place looks nice and has a great looking vegan menu. In reality the food was very bland, service poor and restaurant really shabby in places. So many better places to try in Lisbon-O Gambuzino and Manifest both do a better job at a similar price.

The Green Affair has a wonderful ambience - I love the decoration/chairs/feeling of opulence, etc. The food is pretty good, but it really depends on what you order. The lunch specials are good deals. The items that we enjoy here are: tofu lagareiro, cauliflower wings, burger and katsu curry. The bowls are usually good too. I'm not a fan of the pesto pasta as I feel that it lacks flavor. This is a great lunch spot though with good deals.

Best vegan restaurant in Lisbon - Edit
Amazing vegan options you wouldn’t even think are vegan! Everything is so flavorful (maybe too much salt tho) and there is so much to choose from you’d get too full before being able to taste everything. It’s not that expensive either!

The green affair is a great restaurant with very tasty food. The menu is extensive, with varied choices, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The whole meal felt like it should have been double the price, it’s five star quality at a great price. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing vegan restaurant located here in the Baixa Chiado district of Lisbon. This spot serves up traditional plant-based fare as well as vegan twists on Portuguese cuisine.
Read moreI tried their Spinach Croquettes and their take on Polvo Lagareiro, the grilled octopus over a potato/spinach mash. First off, the croquettes were fire and a great treat to start the meal. The octopus they used was essentially a marinated tofu with seaweed to mimic that fishy taste and texture. I thought the tofu itself was decent, having made something similar myself. However, the mash underneath was the highlight and what I enjoyed the most of the meal.
Along with the food, I also loved the interior - lots of plants to create that relaxing setting, and plenty of tables on both levels. I made a reservation but fortunately the restaurant wasn't busy on the day I went. It's recommended though during high season in order to ensure you get a table.

I hate to leave bad reviews for fully vegan restaurants but unfortunately I can’t recommend green affair.
Read moreWe arrived for an early dinner and asked if we had a reservation, we said no and after looking around the empty restaurant the server seated us in a dark corner with a broken light, next to the kitchen, clearly the worst table in the place. We assumed this meant they were soon to be full and we had the only table left.
The food sounded fresh and nice to have some healthier vegan options after holiday indulgence, but the food was pretty bland. I had the winter bowl, with tofu, roasted sweet potato spinach and rice, none of the food was seasoned and there was no sauce to give flavour either. Vegan food doesn’t have to be plain and tasteless!
By the time we had eaten the restaurant had seated many more walk ins at much nicer tables, leaving us feeling like we made a massive mistake thinking going earlier without a reservation was the best plan. The restaurant still wasn’t full when we left.
We had to ask twice for our bill and saw a few other tables have to ask to have their orders taken.

Stunning and elegant decor, and delicious, carefully executed cuisine. They've got many traditional meals as well as gluten-free options. I enjoyed everything, especially the risotto which is probably the best one I've eaten. Staff was courteous and helpful and my experience in this restaurant was very pleasant!

Me and my husband stopped here for dinner and loved everything. Had a great variety of options. Service was good and they spoke English well. My husbands curry was the best thing we had. Super flavorful and different.

And beautiful restaurant. Staff were so friendly and could speak English which is a big plus when you speak no Portuguese! Had the lunch menu which was incredible value, expected small portions but very generous. Highly recommend this lovely place.
