Each dish of this tasting menu is a delightful surprise. Decadent and surprisingly simple at the same time, Encanto is worth the hype. Staff is professional, refreshing, and knowledgeable of the wine list. The vegan menu is the way to go (confirmed by the guests that tried the vegetarian menu).

Exactly what you expect from a Michelin restaurant . Excellent staff who explain each course/“moment” and wine paring. Everything can be made vegan and it’s a whole, slow, dining experience rather than just a quick dinner. People come here from all over the world.

Great Tasting Menu - Edit
We had a great experience with this tasting menu. The food was very tasty, and each course came with an interesting story/explanation for what inspired the dish. I added in the notes when I made a reservation that we were both vegan, and when we were seated they reassured us that the entire meal would be vegan. I really appreciated that confirmation prior to the start of the meal.

Finest Vegan Meal I Have Ever Eaten - Edit
This vegetarian tasting menu restaurant will do a vegan menu (more than half of the items were already vegan.). It is aiming to prove you can have Michelin Stars and still provide a plant based meal. It was outstanding. Every dish had strong flavors and tied in to local produce and tradition. Normally such meals are only available at top tier restaurants willing to accommodate a vegetarian or vegan as an exception on request. This restaurant is designed to do so strictly for vegetarians and vegans. We tried both the wine and juice pairings. The juice pairings were also innovative and excellent accompaniments to the menu. Can’t say enough about Chef Avillez as an omnivore and international award winner being willing to create a restaurant dedicated just to plants! Thank you!

We had an exquisite meal here. They can easily accommodate an all vegan menu - the waiter asked before service Baganda. My fiancé did the vegetarian meal and o did vegan and most of the dishes were all vegan the night we went. Our meal was so creative and beautifully presented. I love going places were I can’t make the food easily at home and this place tops that list! We had the 8 glass wine pairing and it was impressive how perfectly each wine went with its course. The restaurant is beautiful and the service impeccable.

I had seen the restaurant on Happy Cow and decided to call them to see if they could offer a vegan tasting menu, and they indicated it wouldn't be a problem, This was an amazing experience. Spotless service, beautiful presentation, and great variety of flavors and textures and colors. Definitely not to miss if you're in Madrid and want to splurge!

I was already a big fan of José Avillez's minibar Vegan tasting menu, so I was very excited to try Encanto as soon as it opened, as I personally believe Lisbon still lacks some fine-dining Vegan experiences. Encanto did not disappoint, the food was really good and there was a big gamut of flavors to explore, I believe that soon this might be the first Michelin star vegetarian restaurant in Lisbon.

Remember to warn that you want the Vegan tasting menu and not the vegetarian one, beforehand.
Pros: It's an experience., Very good quality.
