Good food, very popular place - Edit
The Geographer is a very cosy place with one (very tasty) vegan option on the menu: a vegan cougette, carrot and chickpea casserole. The casserole came with rice (which could have been more fluffy) and some sweet potato crisps on top. The portions are quite large and we where stuffed after only a main course. The fries are also quite nice.
Read moreWe visited on the end of september. The placed opened at 5 and was packed by 5.30! When we left aroud 6 there was a line waiting outside (in the rain!) to be seated. So if you want to eat here, I would visit early or see if you van book a table (I'm not sure if that is possible).
Pros: Tasty food, Populair and cosy restaurant, Big portions
Cons: Only one vegan option

One very tasty vegan option - Edit
The chickpea casserole was delicious, with crispy sweet potato chips on top. The rice was good, could have been fluffier. Very nice personnel.

Generally good food - Edit
The restaurant has been very well visited the last evenings for which reason I needed to wait. The soup was delicious as well as the main dish but which was partially completely cold. After mentioning this, they heated it up directly, brought me new rice and a small salad for free. The chips on top were not crispy and had no taste. The parboiled rice reminded me like eating at a canteen or like eating microwave food from the supermarket. That’s my personal taste and could be improved, but probably other people like such rice.

Fast and tasty - Edit
Only one vegan option on the dinner menu which was the casserole but was super tasty. Also had the sorbet and fruit which wasn’t listed as vegan but appeared to be.

Great Wildcat alternative - Edit
Friendly and attentive, no wait. Only option on the (Covid restricted) menu was falafel salad or soup of the day. Had the salad and it was fantastic and came quickly. So many great tastes. I like a lot for lunch so for me it was slightly small so was glad I had sweet potato fries and dip as a side.

Nice atmosphere - Edit
Nice place with a few vegan options well listed on their menu. I had the big falafel sandwich, though it wasn’t really a sandwich. More just a bunch of lettuce, falafel, and hummus piled up high on some pita bread. But it was really yummy! Omni husband liked his meal too.

Quick & Tasty - Edit
Service was really quick and the staff were lovely. Nice atmosphere, affordable pricing and big portions. The “Big Falafel Sandwich” was our favourite of the two vegan mains (menu available online)

Good - Edit
This restaurant has a number of vegan options which are clearly marked as such on the menu. Options include falafel, flatbread an humus and sweet potato fries as appetizers/snacks and falafel sandwich and sweet potato gumbo with okra as mains. Sadly no dessert options. I had the gumbo, which was tasty and the right amount of spicy, in my opinion.

Nice ambiance - Edit
A pleasant restaurant with a good part of the small menu as vegan. Reasonable prices. We were pleased to have this good option in the Fort William area.

Great vibe - Edit
A lovely chilled-out restaurant in the centre of Fort William. There are a few vegan options, all of which are clearly marked on the menu. Try the falafel and hummus!
