Great service and good drinks

I really liked the great service. The vegetarian burger was fine, and especially good was the Highland Mess dessert! Also the staff is very knowledgable in whiskey recommendations.

They can make vegan pizza

Be careful! I asked the staff if the veggie burger is vegan and they couldn‘t tell and also they told me that the fries are made in the same oil as the fish so it‘s not even vegetarian!
But they have vegan cheese so they offered to veganise a pizza for me. Worked well and in the end I got a nice and filling pizza with vegetables and vegan cheese.

Pros: Vegan cheese option, Nice staff, Great beer

Cons: Could not tell if the veggie burger was vegan, No clearly labeled vegan options, Even their baguette contains milk

Standard pub with standard options

They had two vegan options, which were a beetroot burger and a cheeseless pizza. I am not a fan of either of these so ordered the chilli and cheese flatbread and asked for no cheese, no garlic sauce, and guacamole instead. I do understand this was an annoying order for the staff but our server couldn't tell me if the garlic sauce was vegan. It came out with the sauce and coleslaw (and guacamole) so I checked about the garlic sauce with the waitress, she was very apologetic and I got the meal rectified without the sauce! It was basic but nice. It was busy but we also never received any chips that were ordered, and some members of staff did not have the best customer service.

Don't come here expecting vegan TexMex food

They don't offer that any more. The vegan options are very limited and not clearly labeled. They don't have vegan cheese. I am uploading the current menu.

Not Vegan Friendly

No vegan options explicitly mentioned on the menu. Had a leek and potato soup which was underwhelming. Staff attitude was not great, we asked for non diary spread for our bread and we were told no, accompanied by an odd look from the bar staff.

Vegan Options if you ask

I would give them a 5 if the app let me. They can make anything vegan using vegan cheese if you ask. It's standard pub food, comes out piping hot, and it's delicious.

Plenty of options

Although they serve meat, they have plenty of vegan options and don't charge extra for vegan cheese.
The haggis nachos were delicious, although came out a little less hot than would have wanted but still amazing!

Pros: Lots of vegan option , Friendly welcoming staff, Fair priced

Cons: Not fully vegan

Vegan available - but you need to ask

Because of the intel here, I asked about vegan options. Had a pizza with vegan cheese which hit the spot.

Crumpy staff and tasteless food

Very crumpy staff, no smiles whatsoever. Tasteless food. Also not very clear what is vegan. We had pizza, which was tasteless. We had a haloemie burger, which was also tasteless. And we had a bean burger, which was really discusting. Also was quite expensive.

Pros: None

Cons: Tasteless food, Expensive, Crumpy staff

Could be more clear about vegan options

The board outside said to ask for a vegan menu, but when we were inside they didn’t have a separate vegan menu and the vegan options were not marked on the regular menu either. The staff was friendly and tried to help find vegan options. They had vegan cheese, so to make things easy (we were really tired and hungry, having just finished the West Highland Way), we went with the veggie pizza’s with vegan cheese. They were nice enough. Overall the restaurant could do better in informing which options are vegan or can be altered to be vegan, especially since they advertised with it outside.

Pros: Friendly staff, Vegan cheese as substitute possible

Cons: Vegan options not marked on menu

Friendly staff, but very limited vegan provision

The sign outside said to ask about the vegan menu.

In the bar downstairs at least, in practice this amounted to "a large portion of nachos". There's a restaurant upstairs, so perhaps they serve more vegan things up there?

The vegetarian menu was extensive, though.

Pros: Nachos were tasty

Cons: Advertised vegan menu didn't really exist
