I was surprised.

Went here before the Knicks vs Clippers game 11/12, which was a Knicks win I must add. The Beast Burger was rightfully named, its all I needed and the taste blew me away.

The best baked goods!

I ordered a ‘Cinnamon Snail’ and a maple pecan donut, and it’s safe to say they were the absolute best vegan baked goods I’ve ever had! The staff were incredibly lovely so I’d recommend a trip for sure. I didn’t get to try the food but that also looked delicious. If you have time most certainly drop by!

Pros: lovely staff, amazing food, great atmosphere

Visited several times during our stay!

After only managing to get here once on our last trip we decided we were going to have a proper meal here(as well as several sweets). We were going to Madison square garden to see a show. I took a sandwich and a Cookie Monster donut. Both were delicious. Luckily we found a table in the food court. If I could have eaten more, I would have.
We dropped in a few other times and got some take away cakes which were so tasty and fresh. Nice staff and worth queuing.

Pros: The cakes!

Insanely good doughnuts and cinnamon rolls

First stop in New York was here! It's very close to the bus station by foot, and was in a food hall with other good options for omni friends/ with other vegan-friendly places.

I got the salad version of a burger dish and didn't like it too much, but mostly because I like salads to have a lot of vegetables, which in fairness it didn't because it was essentially a burger without the bun. My sister got a really great salad from the place a couple of stalls to the left. However, the doughnut and cinammon roll I got were mind blowing. The best I've ever had! If you're not crazy into burgers and sandwiches I suggest getting a salad and then having dessert here! If you do like them, get both from here :D

Pros: Doughnuts, Cinammon rolls, Location

Cons: Price

OMG -- vegan heaven!

Our eyes bugged out at all the delicious baked goods offered at this all-vegan restaurant on the side of Penn Station -- didn't try the food although the menu looked delicious...only had eyes for the donuts and other confections...we were not disappointed! If you're looking for healthy and low fat, this is not the place (that's why you bake at home!) -- this is just yummy, gooey deliciousness...every bite is worth every calorie! Excellent place to people watch (sitting outside) as well. Perfect that it's located in Manhattan so you can take a long walk afterwards and work off some of those sugar calories! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a sweet treat.

Pros: All food/desserts baked onsite, Reasonable prices, Conveniently located

Cons: can't think of any!

Great Sweets, Okay Food

When it was in the truck, I found the food options a lot better. I haven't had much luck finding food I like at the restaurant. They took away some of my favorites. I do like a couple of the side dishes they just added to the menu. The sweets, on the other hand, are to die for.

Not worth the hype

Tried the beastmode burger that seems to be one of their most popular items. We took our order to go and walked to a less crowded spot to eat because the food hall was insanely busy. The burger was delicious, great combination of flavors, but texturally it was all mush. It was only after eating about a third of the sandwich that I noticed tiny blue/green mold spores on the top of my pretzel bun. Didn't want to go all the way back and fight through the crowd again (and wait another 25 min for another burger) so I didn't get another one or my money back, sadly. Just super disappointed after hearing such great things about this place. Luckily, NYC has no shortage of other vegan options nearby.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Pricey, Lack of quality control/ food safety

YUM!

When I tried out Cinnamon Snail they had the food truck because the food hall was under construction. I ordered the famous beast mode burger and it was so satisfying. Vegan spicy seitan patty with arugula, vegan Mac and cheese (yes on a burger!!!) on a pretzel bun. YUM. nothing else to add. just really good.

Also cool guys work there. I wonder about the following as a German: usually Americans call their pastry cinnamon roll or bun and not cinnamon snail, which is how you would call it, if you would translate it literally German to English because we call it "Zimtschnecke" = Cinnamon (Zimt) snail (Schnecke). So was that the inspiration for the name?

Pros: vegan delicious, entrees and desserts and snacks, fair price

the bomb

Stopped by to check out this famed spot. The Pennsy is under renovations so the cinnamon snail food cart is sitting on the sidewalk outside serving up their delicacies! So many great choices but I had to have the original snail for my first taste. It was exceptional! A rival to any non cinnamon bun. What a delight! Can't wait to come back to try the sandwiches and breaks offerings.

Pros: food truck vibe outside penn station, delicious!!!

pretty gooood

I got the beast mode burger. It didn't look as good as I wanted it to but it tasted pretty good! However for how pricey they are I'm surprised they don't give chips or something with their sandwiches. Maybe it's just me.

Blew Me Away!

Wowza! I had heard great things about the Cinnamon Snail, but even my high expectations had underestimated the deliciousness! The flavor packed food is prepared quickly but with quality ingredients and I really can't begin to explain how great it tastes. The Thanksgiving Sandoo was possibly the best meal I ate within 6 days of eating vegan food across NYC!!! (So messy though!)

I brought non-vegans here and they loved it, too!

Disappointed

I HATE to leave a bad review on this place as I ogle at every photo they post on Facebook and have been DYING to try their food. But I feel the pictures are better than the result... I got the thanksgiving sandoo and the beastmode delux and both were disappointing. The sandoo was mostly baguette and very little filling and was very messy. The beastmode' seitan filling was mush, very soft. The jalapeño Mac and cheese was flavorless and the coconut bacon was very sweet and reminiscent of almond joy coconut. I hate to leave this review because I really respect what they do and am glad they are doing well and exsposing vegan food. I just feel that I've had much better at Terri, vlife, and others. Their donuts are on point though.

Pros: Fast, Easy access

Cons: Not as good as looks, Food seems mushy

I could eat here EVERY DAY!

The cinnamon snail has delicious vegan "street food" creations and they always have something new on special. No matter how many times I eat here I never regret it. The seitan burger is made so well and all of their ingredients are so flavorful and delicious. My absolute favorite is the BEASTMODE BURGER or the Sage Burger on their incredible pretzel buns. You really cannot go wrong with anything you order. The "cinnamon snails" and the donut creations are always unique and so yummy! I highly recommend this any day and it is easy to grab and go!

Pros: Delicious Creations, Reasonably Priced , Fun donuts and desserts!

Cons: Sometimes they run out!

One of my faves

This is one of my favourite places to visit when I go to NYC. I've been to both the FT and the Pennsy and I can't get enough. I'm always telling friends to stop by.
