Really tasty!

Ordered the cheese portobello steak baguette, creme brûlée donut and the peanut butter cheesecake brownie and all of it was really tasty. The steak baguette was so good it had a roasted garlic aioli which was nice and subtle and the jalapeño queso was so good mild not spicy the roasted seitan was thinly sliced and generous serving it was slightly chewy though but I didn’t mind that It tasted like a roast dinner. The cheesecake brownie was amazing.

Pros: All vegan , So many vegan baked goods, Busy but fast service

Cons: No cons

Great on the go 'junk' style food

Very filling and very tasty food if in the south of Manhattan.
Deffo go if you have a wait for any reason near Penn station and feeling hungry.

Pros: Loads of options, Great taste

Cons: Not cheap but not expensive, Quite heavy has quite refined and fatty

Tasty vegan food

We tried a sandwich and some sweets. The sandwich was delicious but became a mess during eating. The cinnamon roll was good but nothing super special. The creme brulé donut tasted great! Sandwich was about 12 dollars, sweets 3.50 each.
Seats are available in the food hall and outside.

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Savory and sweet options

Good food, slightly pricey

My fiancé and I visited the Cinnamon Snail on a trip to NYC. It is conveniently located inside a food court at Madison Square Gardens. It was very busy when we went and we had to wait in line; however, the servers at the Cinnamon Snail were filling orders surprisingly quick, so the wait wasn’t that long.

We both ordered Beast Mode Burgers Deluxe which came with yummy pretzel buns, lots of sauce, arugula, a seitan burger, and macaroni. I have never had macaroni on a burger before. It was definitely a neat experience! The burgers were flavorful and filling, even though that’s all we got. For me, I felt the burger was a bit too soft and not as crisp as I was expecting it to be. I also felt like it was a bit too rich for me; however, that’s my fault for ordering it, not the Cinnamon Snail’s fault.

Our meal was pretty expensive for two burgers and two boxed waters which is a bit disappointing. The food was good and made with quality ingredients, so I understand the higher price point and it would not deter me from ordering food from the Cinnamon Snail in the future.

One minor detail to keep in mind is that the Cinnamon Snail offers a unique, eclectic menu. There aren’t any options for plain burgers or “basic” food items here. Everything is elevated and original which is very cool; however, if you’re looking for a basic Beyond Burger and fries, you won’t find it here.

I would definitely go back if I’m ever in NYC and I’d want to try more off the menu.

Pros: Lots of options with flavor and uniqueness , Servers/staff are friendly , Fast service

Cons: Expensive , Busy , No “basic” options for non-adventurous eaters

Hit or Miss

This place is a badass spot that I always recommend to friends visiting from outside of the city. Definitely expensive ($13 burger) which sometimes it feels like it is too hastily made for the price. I always have the best experiences when I don't go during rush hour. I work right by here and I try not to go too often because of the price, but Its a nice treat once in a while.

So Delicious!

Convenient location for a quick stop if you're in midtown, or before an event at Madison Square Garden, though the Pennsy is frequently quite crowded. My favourite sandwich is the Thai BBQ Tempeh (with extra sriracha mayo) 👍

Food is good, locations sucks, kind of expensive

Thought I’d give it a try and a bit disappointed. 12.50 for a sandwich in a food court is probably not anything to go out of your way for. Donuts and pastries are various prices but nothing is labeled. Also they gave me the wrong donut. Super glad to see how busy it is given its competition there though!! If I was around penn station and it was convenient I’d totally go back, but for what I spent I know places to have a nice sit down meal which I prefer myself.

Pros: Good vegan food, Seemed pretty eco friendly

Cons: In a busy food court, Expensive

Delicious!

The hamburgers are delicious! Worth the wait in line. The place is central and, during the summer, it’s super cool to eat outside. I absolutely recommend this place for the lovers of great vegan fast food.

Best vegan NYC dessert

The first time I came in I ordered a burger and a few of the pastries they had on display (couldn’t choose one!) Their staff is lovely and are educated on their options. Their dessert menu always changes which is great! Love the variety! I always come back to see what kind of desserts they are offering that day. Only downside is there is limited seating on a busy day :(

Pros: 100% Vegan, Amazing desserts, Variety in menu

Cons: Limited seating

I want to love this place

I really want to love this place, and I'm so happy there is a vegan restaurant in Penn Station. However, my few experiences here haven't been great. First, the service really needs help. Second, the food options aren't healthy and the items I've tried were not terrific. Except...I do think their vegan donuts and pastries are some of the best in midtown (we could use more options here). This place is definitely worth a try, and I know they have devoted fans.

Pros: Vegan in Penn Station, Donuts and pastries

Cons: Poor service, Loud seating area, not much room indoor

Good vegan burgers and sides.

I had the Beastmode Burger Deluxe and thought it was delicious. Spicy with Mac n cheese and a nice bbq sauce. My wife had the Peking Tempeh Tots and the Mac N Cheese. I stole some of theMac N Cheese and mixed it with the plum reduction from the Peking Tempeh Tots. Fantastic! Good food all round that I can recommend to visitors to New York. Central location above Penn Station so good place to grab food before jumping on a train heading around the island or off.

Pros: Nice burgers , Good options for vegan fast food

Unpleasant burning beast burger

Some friends told me we should try this place out while visiting New York, so I was very excited to go.
They were out of an ingredient in their sage burger and told us that it was not an option due to that. So my boyfriend and I both ordered the beast burger. We have just finished it and it was a very unpleasant experience😒extremely spicy, so spicy that you cannot taste anything else in the burger and just want it to end. I didn’t finish mine. Hope their other dishes are good! Also the staff was not that friendly. But that’s ok. Also they had no donuts :(

Pros: Vegan, Lots of options , Inside a food hall

Cons: Burning and unpleasant beast burger, Unfriendly staff, No donuts

Dreamy donuts

There are so many donut options that it may be overwhelming, but the creme brulee donut was out of this world – if you have a sweet tooth make sure to snatch one up! Due to the location it can be very, very busy, but it's always worth the wait!

Great vegan donuts

I am obsessed with the baked goods here. I stop by almost every Friday on my way home from work through penn station. I always buy a few donuts and 1 or 2 lemon twists. Those twists are my FAVORITE thing ever. But the donuts are also amazing. My favorite donut so far is the raspberry cheesecake. I also once tried the mac n cheese and the breakfast burrito. Those were good, not great just alright, and although pricey they were huge servings (I got 2 meals out of it). So I’ll always come back for the baked goods, probably not the food though.

Thanksgiving Sandoo

Tasty v-wich. Roll looks great but a little too chewy to get a good bite off without making a mess. Seitan texture ok. Flavors spit on. Price a tad high for my sensibilities. Quick turnaround. Overall experience, solid B.

Ehh

It’s alright, got the garden house salad and jalapeño Mac and cheese. The salad was really good, but the Mac and cheese was so underwhelming. I expected better for the Mac and cheese, not really worth the money.

Perfect vegan comfort food!

I love the Cinnamon Snail for numerous reasons: their wonderful selection of food, their delightful donuts, their convenient location...It's such a great place. We were in the city for WrestleMania weekend (judge all you want - there are some phenomenal vegan wrestlers!) and decided to stop here because we were hungry before a show. We picked up some mac n cheese and a couple chocolate glazed donuts. I hadn't had a donut since before going vegan three years ago, and man, I feel like I have been deprived! There was a long wait (the venue was very busy), so we even got an additional donut for free! Great selection, great service.

Pros: All vegan, Convenient location

Cons: Probably unhealthy, Location often crowded

Sooooo Good

I tried this place about 2months ago and every time I’m by the Garden I stopped in. The burgers are a little pricey but the Tots and Pasta are decently priced and VERY good portions!!! Seitan Tots and Baked Ziti for the win!!!

Pros: 100% Vegan

Cons: Pricy

Nothing beats good fast food!

I want to grab a quick bite and was in the area. It was so fast to get my food and good as well. I ask the cashier what they recommend and they said the Smoked Sage, what a good choice.

Vegan comfort food

The food is awesome! Is rather fast food quality, with lot of sugar and fat but the taste makes it worth trying. I had a mac'n'cheese, a burger (with mac'n'cheese inside) and a cake. Came out rolling like a ball.

It is a stand, not a separate resraurant.

Pros: very nice, comfort food

Cons: too much plastic waste, even if its not take away
