Really tasty food and easier than cooling it all from scratch yourself!

I ordered this for dinner for one night on our honeymoon.


I think I had expected a zero effort meal but I'd imagine I'd just convinced myself that was the case as it looked so tasty.
It took a little more work than I'd initially expected as there was many different components and most of them needed heating and prepping in different ways (microwwave, oven, hob etc).

However, once it was all cooked, it was really tasty. Definitely a step up from your standard deliveroo mean and much more like a nice meal straight in a restaurant.

At the prices of these meals, they aren't intended to be a replacement for a quick and easy takeaway, but are definitely perfect for a lower effort cook at home meal, especially for special events or wanting something a bit fancy!

Long story short, it was really tasty. Fantastic tasty ingredients and amazing sauces and flavours to pour over them!

Pros: Tasty and a big range of parts to the dish

Cons: Needed a little more effort to cook than expected

Shanghai Nights (Already eaten quite a lot of it, and this was just half of the meal) at The Brook in Wallington

Have a look at the Brook!

Very good choice of menu items. Something for everyone. Food was excellent. Highly recommended, excellent "vibe". Charming staff. No plastic or unrecyclables.

Pros: Vegan, Great atmosphere , Excellent food
