Great homemade food and vegan cake options - Edit
Went in for lunch and there were a number of vegan options on the menu including a home made vegan cake for afters

Good vegan options at Blitz themed cafe - Edit
When we found the vegan cafe a couple of doors along was closed, we were really pleased to find that The Blitz offered some vegan options.
Read moreWelcoming friendly server explained that they were happy to vegan-ise dishes wherever possible (e.g. using vegan cheese in place of dairy), and the menu clearly marked some vegan dishes too, plus there was a vegan cake.
We enjoyed a vegan chilli with cheese, doorstep cheese and chutney sandwich, and coconut cake, and there were plant milks for teas and coffees. The cake was particularly impressive, really moist and great flavour.
Hopefully, the vegan options will be popular and they'll look to offer more - a vegan option on the afternoon tea would be fantastic.
Interesting themed cafe with old posters, newspaper cuttings, and memorabilia, vintage china, tiered cake stands and so on.
Pros: Vegan dishes and happy to veganise dishes, Really good service, Interesting themed atmosphere
Cons: Does serve meat and dairy, Vegan afternoon tea would be nice to see!
