We took the fried tofu udon and the soy milk dandan, also sweet potato tempura. Honestly, the fried tofu udon was not my taste, the broth was very algea heavy and didnt have that usual ramen kick. But the dan dan was very good, spicy and strongly seasoned. The portions are also very good, they made all of us full and for that the price is pretty good.

Staff was very nice though, also very aware about water refills and vegan options. And i liked that you could interact with the cooks, which greeted us and were also very pleasent.

Really nice food with several vegan and vegetarian options. Our waiter spoke English and took the time to explain what veggie options were available both for the regular menu and the daily options. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Definitely recommended!

They have a Vegan Udon section on their in-store ordering app with several options. They also offered a specials menu where nearly every app/topping could be made vegan (eggplant with dashi, fried tofu, and much more). It was all delicious, and service was great. Probably best restaurant experience I’ve had as a vegan in Japan.

My absolute favorite noodle is udon so I had to try this place. They had a special menu for vegans with varied dishes. I took a seaweed-udon frame with extra tofu. The food was good, but nothing special. Cheap prices, though. And a place where it also feels very easy to go as a single eater (which in itself applies to many places in Japan).

I had the vegan seaweed udon noodles with a small piece of deep fried sweet tofu. Good vegan Japanese food that doesn’t break the bank. The staff was friendly and spoke sufficiently English to serve me a me and handle the payment. Would definitely eat there again.

Have been craving a bowl of udon for ages now and this really hit the spot. Got the tempura udon and a side of kitsune.
Read moreShould've done it the other way around: kitsune with a side of tempura as this would've probably been closer to "regulsr" udon. The dish I got had the soup in a separate jar and it was a lot less broth than with a regular bowl.
Still an outstanding experience and well worth the roughly 200-300¥ vegan tax compared to their non-vegan fare. Highly recommend going there to tickle that udon itch or to introduce your friends to udon :)
Side note: staff speaks excellent English

Very friendly staff with plenty of vegan marked items. I had the udon with sweet tofu and wanted to try the sweet potato tempura as well but I am a solo traveller and could finish that much food. Would definitely come here again next time I’m in Hiroshima!

You can order by scanning the QR Code which leads you to a Menu written in English.
Also you get free Water and the Waitress refills it without asking - which is very kind.
The Service is fast and you also get a Apron to wear when you order the Udon so your clothes don't get dirty.
I can highly recommend it.

I ordered the Soy Milk DanDan and the Sweet Potato Tempura (special daily offer) with a coke. The Sweet Potato was different to the once we get in Europe. It tasted like a regular pototao but more sweet. It was amazing. The Soy Milk DanDan was creamy and with what i assume was soy meat. The Udon were thick and perfectly chewy. The soup was pretty good.
I paid about 2500¥ for all. Water was free. I World recommend it.

Great place to eat - Edit
I live in Hiroshima and often eat here with my wife. They have a clear vegan menu and the tempura is cooked in a separate vegan oil (if you ask them for the vegan option). Great quality udon and love the spiciness of the tan tan sauce. The inari sushi is also vegan friendly. Would love for a few more vegan options, but overall a wonderful place to go.

We had the bukkake udon, soy milk dandan udon and udon soup with sweet tofu, as well as vegetable tempura. Everything was delicious! The bukkake udon was the favorite of 2 of us, my other friend preferred the soy milk dandan udon.
