Visited with my partner and our 7 year old and we all really enjoyed the food! The udon was fantastic and we loved the renkon tempura. It was easy to order off the menu via QR code, and the food was fast, tasty and decent portions.

Our first Udon in Japan and it was a really tasty experience. The noodles were long and thick und chewy. The sweet tofu was really sweet!!

This restaurant has a robust vegan menu! We had the dandan and seaweed udon and they were both spectacular memorable meals. We upgraded the portion sizes, which in hindsight was probably too much food! Highly recommend!

Really impressive tempura with a generous serving size considering it’s vegan. I had the sweet tofu udon which was light and refreshing. One of the few meals that has left me feeling full! Restaurant had a great vibe and ordering straight from the QR code was very handy.

Would recommend, QR code for vegan English menu, order to table. We ordered Tofu udon and tempura vegetables and both were delicious. Meals are very large so make sure you are hungry. Can pay with credit card.

We came here last week unsure whether it had reopened. We were pleased to find the doors open and a table available for us. It was already quite full and they were turning people away (maybe because they had bookings later in the evening?) by the time our food arrived, so it's worth getting there before 6 if possible.
Read moreThere was a separate English menu accessible from the QR code on the table (pictures attached), which made things really clear. We had the vegan udon in hot soup broth, which was really simple but completely delicious. The noodles were so long and chewy - just perfect.

I ordered the soy milk ramen, it was a lil spicy and full of flavour. Reminded me of Ts tan tan.
I also got to try the sweet tofu and udon which had the most incredible broth, I don’t know how they do it 🤤

Tasty Udon Soup - Edit
Visited Taiko in hope that they were open after reading they went on a hiatus. They have a very easy ordering system you do from your phone especially if you don’t know Japanese. There was a vegan ramen section and I ordered the udon soup. The flavor of the broth was very subtle but it was yummy and warm for a cool day. It made for a filling lunch!
