Taco Amigo
Serves meat, vegan options available. Re-opened Apr 2016 after renovations. Mexican cantina, seats 30+. Some items have vegan options, and many of the stable ingredients such as the rice, beans, and guacamole are vegan. Just ask. Directions: From Itaewon station go out exit 4, once at the top of the stairs, go down the street behind and to the left of the stairs you just came up, and it's on the right 50 feet up the street.

Tasty meal but slightly overpriced! - Edit
Had a vegan burrito plate with potatoes and the plate looked really bland when it arrived... the sauce and burrito we're really good but not as nice as the price would suggest.

lots of vegan options, tasteless - Edit
I was rather disappointed by the fajitas, considering the price (worth 10 bibimpaps). I can tell why the owner didn't remain vegan : he doesn't know how to replace cheese to make the food tasty. Everything was dry and tasteless, like a cliché if what people think a vegan meal is like. More tomato, chili, avocado or soy cream please !
Pros: lots of vegan options
Cons: expensive, tasteless

Delicious and filling - Edit
I ordered the burrito meal (vegan). I got a large burrito stuffed with rice, beans, mushrooms, lettuce, etc. with side portions of rice, refried beans, nachos and home-made chipotle chilli sauce. Really delicious and filling!
The place doesn't have much atmosphere - it's very clearly a fast food joint - but super yummy and healthy fast food, which is perfect if you just want to chow down!
Pros: Tasty, Fast, Great location
Cons: No atmosphere

It's alright - Edit
I get the veggie mushroom burrito with a side of guacamole and chips.
I think it's worth a try but I'm not a huge fan. The burrito is almost all mushrooms. Every time I go I ask for them to add extra rice and beans to the burrito. Never really happens though. To be honest, if I'm in the area and I'm craving a burrito I usually end up at taco bell instead. Sorry locally owned restaurant! I'm a bad person.
It tastes good for Seoul. It's definitely filling (should be for how expensive it is). I just feel like I make a better burrito at home. I'm snooty like that.
Pros: Restaurant knows what vegan is, English speaking staff, Margaritas
Cons: Expensive, Not super delicious, Guacamole is cold, what's up with that?

Good Mexican Restaurant - Edit
I have been here several times and have been very impressed with the vegetarian/vegan options which they have for pretty much everything(possibly everything). I thought maybe it was slightly more expensive than I would have liked. However, considering the food quality and that it is a Mexican restaurant in Korea, I think it's definitely worth it. I thought the food tasted pretty authentic too.

Vegan friendly - Edit
Owner is a former vegan and has recently changed the recipes for the guacamole, rice and beans so they are all vegan. They use a mushroom alternative to meat, no tofu or mock meats. Nearly all the items on the menu can be ordered vegan. Meals cost 8,000-10,000 but were very filling, and tasty if not a little too salty. They also have fresh made corn chips.
Pros: good value, rare mexican vegan, easy to find
Cons: little salty, light on the beans
