Mixed Feelings

This is a cute little place located in th HBC neighborhood. I have some some good food there and I LOVE that they are pet-friendly. But they aren't consistent with their quality or service. The owner is terrific, but some of the staff are very unpleasant.

Pros: Pet-friendly

Cons: Customer service needs improvement , Need more vegan options

Not bad for a quick bite

Vegan hummus sandwich was good. Agree with Helen that more options could make this place even better

Pros: Vegan sandwich was good, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Gets pricy if you add vegan cheese

Amazing taste

Their vegan dishes taste amazing! I tried the poke bowl, the salad and the burrito. And the kombucha is good too. It’s actually cheaper there than at other places 👀 please don’t raise the prices now that I said this haha

Pros: Good taste, Customizable dishes, Convenient and fast

Cons: Not many vegan options, Size of poke bowl is below average

More vegan option wanted!

Cake was tasty. I will try kombucha next time. Most of time, the staffs are not really friendly... That is minus.

Really tasty and fresh

One of the best vegan meals I had that was actually also healthy.

My meal (Mexican Bowl - Vegan) was super tasty and filled with veg, beans etc all the staples I’d include when cooking back home. Added the optional vegan cheese, also tasty.

On top of this I had the Matcha Latte with Soy Milk.. this was super sweet (I was warned ha) and I probably wouldn’t get this again

Overall the cafe had such a nice feeling, really homely

Pros: Homely vibe, Good vegan replacements available

Cons: Not completely vegan (con by default :p)

Perfect spot for some lighter/healthy food

Fat Cat is a good place to come to if you're looking for a light meal. I got a salad/veggie bowl with a variety of greens, lentils, avocado and hummus. They also have vegan cheese for the bowl and for a wrap.

Pros: Good light meal, Nice outside seating area

Ever pleasant neighbourhood bistro

I admire this place for its good energies mostly and I definitely enjoyed the food too. The management and the staff is super nice and always ready to help with your questions. I just rarely feel as welcome in a place in Seoul. Prices are okay, given that it's a popular area of Itaewon. Even so, it's one of the best place to just relax and chat away with friends. Somehow the atmosphere always manages to be be chill, even if it's busy with people. I guess the place attracts a like-minded crowd. They make the most delicious yet affordable vegan lattes. You need to ask for soy milk tho. Other vegan options include salads and some desserts. Plus 1 star for having gluten free dessert option available! Even if their vegan options are limited it's still a heartwarming and peaceful establishment to spend time at. Whether you come with friends, a date or a good book, equally enjoyable.

Cool bistro

Adorable in the Itaewon chic yet mellow area. I could have sipped on a drink and people watched while reading a book all day. It looked like someone else there was doing just that~ It was airy with the front open, very friendly and a wonderful co-owner waiting on me who was honest and helpful; the kind of lady I could hang out with chatting all day. There was a porch out back where a young family hung out and a couple of artsy looking Korean ladies working in the chic open kitchen. I was bummed to arrive and find out the place served chicken at the time. I had been told it was a vegetarian restaurant though this is not the restaurant's fault. I ordered a delicious Buddha-like bowl mix (around 12,000 won) of greens, sweet potatoes and hummus (see photo) and a kombucha drink (around 3,000-5,000won, can't remember). I did take a vegan energy granola-like bar to go. It unfortunately fell apart on me. It's a bit pricey for the quantity for a regular place for me though would return as a treat when I could also enjoy a glass of wine with company~

Great and cute cafe

I really enjoyed this place when I went. Friendly staff and great service. The pumpkin latte with soy was great and the rose kombucha was excellent. The lady there brews her own kombucha. I will try the vegan dishes when I go back.

Pros: Friendly staff , Great location and easy to find, Good prices

Love this place

This place is super cozy and friendly, a haven for the international community of the area. I enjoyed the avocado hummus sandwich and the Mediterranean quinoa salad, which was "converted" to a vegan version after substituting the recipe's cheese with yummy avocado.
Even though I'm not a big fan of baguettes, and would rather have a healthier choice of bread for my sandwich, it's still a great pick for breakfast/lunch, together with the exquisite salad. They also have various lattes, which they'll gladly make you with soy milk. It's worth coming, also since they've just recently brought the soy milk as a regular milk alternative to attract the vegans out there. Hopefully higher demand will also increase the vegan options on the menu.
