Excellent vegan food with some typical veganized hungarian dishes! The cake was also delicious. The pub has chill vibes and the owner is really nice and friendly. Fair prices.

It used rice paper in place of pancetta, all over the top. The 'pancetta' was nicely smoky salty while the pasta and sauce was so creamy. The fresh apple juice was also delicious

The food is amazing, we tried pasta carbonara and the pulled pork burger, both were delicious! They offer some yummy lemonades and craft beers. The atmosphere of the place is super nice!

I loved Szabad so much, we have been back multiple times in our short trip to Budapest! The bar is very friendly and chilled. There is also a lovely dog! The menu is all vegan. Our favourites were the shrimp, dirty fries, and carbonara. Everything we tried here was good. There is a great selection of burgers which come with a homemade bun. The soup and shrimps also come with delicious homemade flatbread. The food came to a very affordable price, and the drinks are a good price too. I would encourage others to visit for a chilled drink, vegan bar food, and a friendly atmosphere.

The atmosphere was very lovely and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the goulash tasted only like salt and my burger was very mediocre. The daily appetiser we had on the other hand was amazing :). Maybe they just had a bad day

The place and staff is nice but that’s all. I had a pulled porc burger and the texture of it was ok, but it was absolutely tasteless. Fries wasn’t good also.

So we came here because the place was one of the popular ones on the app but the food was very tasteless the pulled pork jackfruit burger lacked taste salt no bbq or smoke flavor just watery, the fries were soggy, the cheese was basically mash potatoes I hope there are two chefs because the number of 5 stars here don’t make sense to me at all. And I am very hesitant to drop a bad review.

I loved the atmosphere here! I ordered the pasta carbonara as I was craving pasta the whole day and it was delicious! Perfect sized meal as well. I tried the snicker cake for desert and I liked it too! I would definitely recommend 🥰 really great prices too!

We got in around 21:30 and got told kitchen would be still open for us to order, but we have to order at the bar. Decided on the food, super pumped about the burgers since this place has good reviews. Quickly decided and waited over 10 minutes at the bar, while being completely ignored. When finally someone was ready to take our order we got a short answer that the kitchen is now closed.(it was still grilling at that point) Super disappointing we will not come back.

We fell in love with this place 😍 tasty food for a good price, we had balkan burger with beyond meat and ajvar with fries and homemade dips - I absolutely loved cheese one. Nice staff and cool decorations.

I really recommend visiting this place for every vegan staying in Budapest, because it has great food, great atmosphere and very nice staff. Oh and if you like dogs I would also recommend this place because it's dog friendly and there is always at least one dog aroud with someone.

I had garlicy soy chunks with potatoes and i couldn’t get enough of it. So incredibly tasty. Drinks are nice too and you should definitely try the raw snickers cake.

I had the bean stew and the falafel, both of which were delicious and filling, and they weren't expensive at all. The interior is charming, though it could've been just a tad cleaner. The waitress spoke English perfectly.

Zum Glück habe ich dieses kleine Restaurant gefunden. Das Essen ist rein vegan und bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl. Ich hatte das Bohnen-Gulasch mit Fladenbrot: für meinen Geschmack zwar etwas zu wenig gewürzt, aber ansonsten sehr gut und eine gute Menge für einen günstigen Preis. Das Ambiente ist rustikal, aber einladend und gemütlich mit einem Angebot an Büchern und Zeitungen.
