We went there around noon. Had a burger with jackruit. Sadly there was some probleme with the kitchen so we couldn't have fries. Nice little place. Worth a stop if you are nearby.

Wasn’t hungry, but had to stop in to see what it was like. Ended up with the bean goulash (as you do in Budapest) and a latte. Cool vibe and I enjoyed the meal, but wish I was hungrier.

Carta corta pero con platos interesantísimos. El sabor no defrauda para nada, incluso mejor de lo esperado. Ambiente muy relajante, con cambrera atenta y simpática. No te fíes por el aspecto de fuera y entra.

I had the notchicken burger, it was good but maybe a bit bland. Boyfriend had the balkanburger, it was fine, but nothing special. The atmospere was nice and the dogs were cute. The burgers were a bit difficult to eat because the flatbread as a bun was quite difficult to cut.

My partner and I split the not chicken burger with fries and dip, and a portion of the dirty fries, with me getting the dirty fries and burger and him having the normal fries as he wasn’t hungry yet.
Read moreThe portions were good so I ended up very full, but I’ve noticed in Budapest that every burger with mayo in it seems to have - a lot - of mayo. If you’re not keen on that, chose a different option. Otherwise it was really tasty, and the rice paper bacon was interesting to try

We selected this based on the Happy Cow reviews. So happy we did, as this local restaurant delivered fabulous food! we ordered the Balkan burger, and penne carbonara. we are hoping to make another visit here in our short stay to try more.

Affordable & Tasty (Hungarian) Food - Edit
Loved the local vibe of the venue and I was excited to finally try a Hungarian-styled dish. I tried the Lecsó with rice and it did not disappoint! It was a relatively large portion for me so I was good for the whole afternoon. The non-veg friends I dragged along also enjoyed their food and drinks, so overall I would say it was a good decision. As a bonus, they don't overprice their menu items :).

I had the Balkan Burger as a menu with fries and homemade mayo.
The burger was fairly big and tasted well. The fried were salted in a simple way.
The mayo was alright, but nothing to sing songs of.

You can tell the food is made with quality ingredients. Presentation is also impeccable and all at a great price. Very relaxed atmosphere. A few too many burgers on the menu for my interest, but also a few vegan spins on local cuisine – I had the lecsó which doesn’t seem to be on the version of the menu they have online.

The food is plant based. We took a notchicken and balkan burger with the specials fries and it was a lot and good. Very oily and fat so we took away in a doggy bag that they gave us. The juices are freshly made as they say (we drank the peach and apple ones and they were really good and tasted fresh). No service fee included.

A cosy little space, alternative design and some political phrases here and there. Friendly staff. The pulled pork burger was definitely a good choice for me.

Lots of vegan options. We got the vegan cheese and pulled pork burgers. Both were poor. The cheese was tasteless, the chips were like McDonald’s fries but without any taste. The vegan mayo was also tasteless.
