Meh Bagels, only hummus avail?

So odd to me that a well-established bagel place, basically the only one in town, STILL doesn’t offer vegan cream cheese. Rehoboth is a haven for the wealthy elderly these days, I suspect they don’t even know what vegan is. Oh well. Better than a grocery store bagel, but nothing like a Philly or NY bagel.

**updated to add: apparently the bagels aren’t even vegan 🫠😭 good gracious….

Tasty Bagels, but Bizarre

Really nothing out of the ordinary in terms of vegan options. Bagels were really good and tasty homemade hummus. Option to get almond milk in your coffee, smoothies, and a standard veggie wrap.

Sounds good, right?! Just beware— if you get a bagel with hummus they will ring you up for the hummus sandwich, so make sure you specify “toasted”.

bagels contain dairy 😭

Was informed that unfortunately all the bagels are made with milk powder and cannot be made dairy-free. However, I still go just for the home fries and smoothies. Their smoothies are a great value (I think all the smoothies are vegan by default) and they’re a nice size for the price too. The home fries are also confirmed vegan and they’re consistently delicious! Seriously, don’t skip out on the home fries. They also have some veggie wraps with hummus that can be made vegan but nothing too exciting.

Pros: home fries!!! 10/10, good smoothies, almond milk for coffee

Cons: no dairy-free bagels, not a lot of veggie/vegan options in general

Bagels are NOT vegan

NONE of the bagels are vegan and they were downright rude when I asked. ALL are made with “milk solids”

Only vegan options are smoothies, which are sub par.

Cons: Rude

I concur with the fact that none of the bagels are vegan... How sad.

Not a whole lot of vegan options

And what they did have was very bland.

I was told the bagels here contain egg

I called to order a sandwich and was told the bagels contained egg so they were not vegan. Otherwise there are some other options.

Cons: Can’t eat the bagels

Great Bagels

We loved this place- smoothies with plant-based milk and great bagels! The Malibu Bunny breakfast sandwich with hummus (instead of cream cheese) was outstanding, and the salads were amazing- we asked to remove meat/cheese and they were super accommodating. We brought some bagels home with us to extend our vacation a bit😊
