It's OK

We stopped here on our drive to Bethany Beach. I asked the person who had seated us and given us menus, what the vegan options were. He really wasn't sure. He said the fried tofu appetizer and fried rice. He said the curries all had fish sauce. When I asked about noodle dishes he went back to the kitchen to check. When he returned he said that the curry dishes were vegan, but never addressed the noodles. When our server took our order we mentioned that we needed the curries to be vegan, and she said, "OK, no fish sauce." So in the end I hope they were vegan.

The fried tofu was just that. Cubes of tofu that were deep fried and put on a plate. There was a plastic container with a peanut dipping sauce. Now anything fried is pretty good, and these were very crisp, but literally just beige tofu cubes fried and put on a plate. Could have used some sauce or aromatics on top for flavor and color.

We ordered the panang and yellow curries. They were OK, but nothing amazing. Oddly, rice does not come with the curries, so you need to order it separately. That is the first time I've encountered that in a Thai restaurant.

Pros: Staff was friendly, Fried tofu was plain, but crispy

Cons: Food was just OK, Staff unsure about ingredients

Love this Lewes Gem!

This is our favorite local place for takeout and nice for dining out. We have returned many times and the curry dishes are outstanding. The food is usually spicy but we love it, no other decent Thai competition in this area as that we have discovered.

Pros: The Panang & Green Curries, Cute place, Reasonable

Cons: May be spicy for some
