A little gem in Cannaregio, this small but cosy bookshop and vegetarian bistrot offers a few simple vegan dishes to choose from. I had two small croutons, one with chickpea and spinach falafel, the other with hummus and olives, followed by a puccia, a round shaped bread with olive and cannellini bean spreads and chickory sprouts, and a small side salad. Highly recommended!

This cute little café/bookstore along the canal was able to accommodate us with tasty cappuccinos made with soy. Whilst there wasn't that many options, there were more than the majority of places we checked during our short stay in Venice, and the vibes alone are as good as any to pop by for a visit.

I had a bruschetta what was good and a chickpea salad. Not very special but tasty. I missed a dressing so asked for olive oil. And I would expect more ingredients for that money. No vegan desserts when I was there it was finished. It was also mostly vegetarian what i saw. And weird they charge money for plant milk.
I actually liked the spot and the area but for the food just okay.

Very friendly service offering clearly marked vegan options. I had focaccia with a cannellini bean purée and a salad. It was tasty, although maybe not the most filling. It gets five stars because the vegan dessert (a crostata) was delicious, as was the mock tail. Maybe better for a light lunch than for when you’re truly starving, but overall I really enjoyed it.

Really great chicetti, simple ingredients done well, felt really fresh. Lovely atmosphere. We sat inside among the books as there were no free tables outside, but it was much cooler in there and we enjoyed looking at the books and stuff. Service in English.

Honestly it was a little busy and chaotic in there and I was confused on what the menu items were (I think it was my fault LOL) but the one piece of toast I got was so good, (tomato and artichoke crema), If it wasn’t so hard to place an order I would have ordered a lot more!! Also the tea is phenomenal and the atmosphere is so cute.

Our favourite peaceful space in Venice - Edit
We went here three times during our visit to the city and had various cups of tea, a lovely chai latte with oat milk and the fruit crostata there. The latter was amazing and a big portion. Although a bit pricey, it was worth it for the peaceful ambience, which can be hard to find in Venice. We didn't try the lunch time menu, but there were various vegan sandwiches available.

Not that many places to sit, so if it's busy you'll have to wait a bit maybe. We were lucky and had a place outside. The vegan chocolate milk is literally liquid chocolate, I loved it! Super filling tho hehe. The cake was yummy & the salad/chickpea thingie was okay

Sullaluna is a lovely vegetarian restaurant and bookstore with outdoor seating right on the canal. It is wonderful! I had the rainbow salad and a huge pot of tea. They have packaged vegan and gluten free cookies as well.
