I love this place - Edit
I’m a beginner vegan and have been trying new restaurants. I was amazed at the the variety and immediately fell in love. My experience there alone, helped me realize that I can totally continue on my vegan journey.

Best vegan queso - Edit
Super friendly people and an overall great atmosphere. We had smoothies, tofu scramble, queso, grilled cheese, home fries, and a burger. Everything was seriously delicious. We aren’t from Texas but hope to visit again soon!!

Tried and True Favorite - Edit
Spiral Diner is a Dallas Vegan Institution. It's a mecca of vegan goodness to Dallas visitors. If you haven't been, go now! We count ourselves blessed to have Spiral Diner in Oak Cliff, serving up delicious sandwiches like Mitch's Club and fine burgers like the Big Kahuna burger. Mountainous plates of nachos and blue plate specials are always delicious as well. In the last couple of years, beer was made available. Bring a sweater, it is usually well chilled inside. And unfortunately, space is not available for outdoor seating at this location.
Read morePros: Delicious food, Evolving large menu, Decent parking available, unlike Bishop Arts area
Cons: always chilly, food takes a while to arrive

Yay! Fun place with good eats - Edit
We went at 2:00pm on a Thursday and they were almost full. The to-go counter was busy too. The waitress was very nice and the food came out surprisingly fast. My omnivore hubby got the supreme nachos, which he enjoyed and could not finish.. even with help. I got the quinoa wrap and Mac-n-cheez. My wrap was a little underwhelming. I thought it could have used more flavor. The Mac-n-cheez was fantastic! There were about fifteen people in the kitchen making it all happen; and the open concept made it possible to watch. My to-go coffee was good too. All-in-all.. it was the perfect lunch pit-stop on a long drive.

Cons: Wrap wasn’t very flavorful

Awesome! - Edit
Our first stop on our first trip to Texas. What a delight. The people are wonderful. The atmosphere is great. The jalapeño popper sandwich was unreal. The buffalo chicken nachos were ridiculously large and delicious! Love the self service drinks and there are so many bakery items. Awesome merch collection as well. Was busy but there was no wait. Love this place!

This is the best vegan place in Dallas. The food is next level. On top of that they have a little market on the inside.

OMG - Edit
OMG. Spiral diner is probably my favorite vegan restaurant in all of TEXAS! There is nothing from their menu that had ever disappointed me. My favorites are the nachos and the buffalo sandwich. I’m also a sucker for a slice of

Poor service - Edit
Went in with a group of 11 with a reservation. They switched servers mid helping us and no one knew what was going on. We all got our food at different times, it was basically all cold and mediocre. It’s also self service as far as drinks go... which we didn’t know. Someone dropped off glasses and just walked away. About 10 minutes later we figured it out with no help from the staff. Also, you put your lips on the glass (no straws were given?) then go fill up again touching it.... kinda gross?

The nachos and shakes are great. Spiral is a great place to take non-vegans. Many people I’ve taken request to go back. Lots of options. Friendly staff.

So many options and fabulous. I could go back 50 times before I try everything. - Edit
Been twice. Once for Sunday brunch and once for dinner. Great people, lots of choices and 100% vegan. Both times it was about 20 min wait and no reservations taken. Highly recommended

Meh. - Edit
I wasn’t as impressed as everyone else seems to be. Coffee was pretty bad. They were out of biscuits and brunch had *just* started. I got the pancakes and they were really heavy. They’re a distance away from me so I doubt I’ll return.

Pheobe I Love you!! :D - Edit
We arrived from Israel. Took us 45 minutes drive including minor navigational errors hehe. We were greeted by the beautiful staff and waited about 15 minutes for a table. Our waitress was beautiful and smiling Pheobe - she was perfect throughout all our time there. We ordered the big Nachos plate, the monthly special, the sketti & meatballs and the nighthawk to go. We were like half full after the delicious nachos, and then came the sketti and monthly special. Both delicious!!! I loved it so much I also baught a nacho plate pin and a SPIRAL mug! Thank you!!
