Excellent - Edit
A good amount of choice. I had the udon noodles - only have this if you’re into spice! The tempura veg was a great addition; make sure you look through the menu to find this as it isn’t listed on the main vegan/veggie page. None of the wines were listed as vegan so we had to Google to find out this information. Really lovely atmosphere and a very funny waiter. Would definitely recommend!

Great food and service. - Edit
Decent amount of choice on the menu.
Read moreReally tasty food. We had the Buddha hot pot and the aubergine hot pot as mains, the tempura veg for starters. All served by a very fun and happy gent full of decent banter.
Pros: Tasty food , Nice venue , Great staff
Cons: Slightly expensive.

Great atmosphere; great food. - Edit
A relaxed atmosphere inside with great service from our waiter, who was friendly and funny throughout. The food was excellent. Exactly what you’d want from a restaurant serving Chinese cuisine. There was a vegetarian/vegan section on the menu with a range of options. The tempura vegetables side dish was great. The mains come with rice (unless you order a noodles dish). The wines aren’t listed as vegan, but we googled a few and one of the rieslings was vegan (and rounded off the meal nicely). Would recommend.

Deceptive - Edit
Although the waitress was warm, the restaurant does not live up to expectations. The dishes are very ordinary and too oily. Recipes and cooking are approximate. Total deception.

Simply wonderful! - Edit
Really nice restaurant with many vegan options. Had the best mapu tofu I have ever tried. Beautiful venue. Nice staff. A bit pricy. Nice view over some old houses in Bryggen if you get a window seat.

Great food and service - Edit
Soya is a beautiful restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. They have a vegan menu with 8 different dishes, and they also offer a vegan dessert. We ordered Mapo tofu and Wok udon noodles, and both dishes were incredibly tasty! Even if it's not the cheapest place it was well worth the money and we will be coming back.

Best Chinese food ever! - Edit
Stopped by for lunch at just around noon. Also found out that they open at noon so that’s why we were the first people in the door. The owner of the restaurant is actually the one that helped us out. There is an entire vegetarian/vegan page towards the back of the menu. I ordered the vegan wok udon noodles with no pak choy. It was phenomenal. It may be the best noodle dish I’ve ever had. Seriously considering heading back for dinner. FYI-if you are planning to go for dinner, make a reservation! They are pretty full for dinner but they have the same menu available for lunch. For two people, lunch cost around $50 but it was really great so it was worth it!
Read morePS-Soya also offers a vegan tempura that is not listed on the veg page. You’ll find it in the first couple pages of the menu.
Pros: A whole page of veg options!, Friendly staff , Central location
Cons: Pricey

Amazing Chinese - many vegan options - Edit
Wow. Loved this place. The tofu is amazing. We ate our food too quickly and forgot to get photos. The mushroom hot pot was ridiculously good (but not too mushroomy). The noodles were also really good. It said 3 of 5 for spice but wasn’t super spicy.
