No protein

I called ahead to make sure Escalon offered vegan options, and was very disappointed at the lack of real vegan options. They have hummus and otherwise only grilled mushrooms and veggies. Good food, but you’ll have to get falafel after. Disappointing for a tapas place, I’d assume they carried bean dishes at least

Pros: Spice

Cons: No protein, No actual vegan dishes

very poor

Patronising and awful for veggies and vegans. Get the impression they will pick the meat out of some dishes for a veggie from what the waiter said
