A great place away from the tourist crowd

This is a beautiful café restaurant a few steps away from crowded Marienplatz. I had the tempeh BBQ ciabatta and the chocolate cake. Lovely.

Sehr gutes Take Away

Mehrmals Essen mitgenommen, war immer wirklich gut. Einer der Kuchen hat mich allerdings nicht überzeugt

Friendly & small cafe

I ate here twice today and both times the food was very good. The breakfast avocado sandwich was more than the usual basic fare. The waiter suggested the apple cake which was really good. For dinner I had the lasagne. Again, good with fresh salad. The chocolate cake was not great: only had one bite. Excellent and attentive service. The cafe is small but takes booking: good to do if you’re coming at a busy time.

Lovely restaurant

Everything is just perfect, except the prices maybe. But for what you get it is reasonable. The variety of cakes and sweets is just great.

Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Delicious vegan food. Huge portion sizes and very reasonably prices. Big selection of food, from breakfast to sandwiches, pasta and smoothies. Calm and relaxed atmosphere.

Pros: Big portions of delicious food, Friendly staff and good atmosphere, Sensibly priced

Cons: My pudding pastry swirl wasn’t very nice

Nice, small spot; very 'garlicky'

Good food, yet sadly, *every single* main course contains garlic. Very good cake & coffee. Around 20 seats in nice room. Three S-Bahn train stops f/ central train station. Animal rights books & flyers (good!). Do reserve a table, it may be packed.

Thank you for your review and we are happy you enjoyed staying with us?Yes we use garlic in nearly every food we make as it is a healthy ingredient and most of the people like it - we were thinking of offering one dish in the future without any garlic as there are people who are allergic and it would be a pity not having the opportunity of any food for them :-)

Nice place

Our dinner here was great. We shared the beet soup, the dip trio, the Bavarian, and the schnitzel. Everything was tasty. The chocolate-blueberry cake looked a bit dry, so we gave it a pass. Friendly staff and fast service. English menu available and credit cards accepted.

Worth a visit

Cute little place in the heart of Munich.

They offer a good variety of food and there should be something for every palate.

Burger, salad and Schnitzel were on point and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food to arrive. Everything was fresh and staff were really lovely.

Wonderful

Fantastic food, and The Beatles in the background. It rarely gets better than this highly recommended for the food , the very pleasant staff and the relaxing ambiance.

Be aware it closes at 2200 but last food orders are about 2100hrs .

Definitely recommend


We visited SIGGIS twice during our trip to Munich. The first time was for coffee and cake and the apple pie was outstanding! We returned for breakfast and both the tofu scramble and the avocado toast were great. The waiting staff were excellent on both occasions and there’s a good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place.

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere

I visited this place in August 2018 and had a smoothie with blueberry, Spaghetti Bolognese and a piece of currant meringue pie, which was all very good.
I also bought a glass of honey replacement called "Wonig", it was quite nice.

Pros: Delicious food, Clean and nice restaurant, products to buy for home (Wonig)

Wow

A very nice place, friendly staff (although slightly stressed, It was fully booked). We were there for Cake and Coffee and were VERY happy with the result. Probably the best Cake we had so far in our vegan life. We ended up not having coffee but a Chai Latte and something called Smurf (?) Latte (both with home made Cashw milk). Those were very good, too! Highly recommended!

Excellent Every Time

In the last year I've been many times to this small, friendly vegan cafe / restaurant. The staff are friendly, the desserts excellent and the atmosphere cosy!

Nice Vibe

I loved the vegan vibe at the restaurants with the vegan pamphlets on the table and sayings around the restaurant. I had the lasagna with the salad. I didn't love the sauce, but the cheese and veggies in the lasagna were really good.

Super lecker, sehr freundlich und gemütlich!

Es war sehr lecker und gemütlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle höflich und sehr freundlich. Die Hauseigene Cashew-Kokosmilch im Cappuccino war auch sehr gut. 🙂

Guten essen, personal leider nicht sehr freundlich

Ich habe lasagne gegessen, die war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war leider eine Enttäuschung, ein reservierter Tisch noch 50min frei, dort durften wir dennoch nicht hin, saßen an der Tür und es war uns richtig richtig kalt. Als wir gingen war die Reservierung noch immer nicht da.

Es freut uns sehr, dass unser Essen überzeugen konnte?Bezüglich des Feedbacks über das Personal sei bitte gesagt, dass wir ein sehr kleines Restaurant sind und daher fast überhaupt keine Möglichkeit haben, wenn Gäste nicht reserviert haben - der Tisch an der Tür ist ein "Nottisch", der gerade in der kälteren Jahreszeit sicherlich problematisch ist?Reservierungen werden immer priorisiert behandelt, das ist ganz normal und wird in jedem Restaurant gleich getätigt - auch dürfen Gäste sich um 15 Minuten verspäten, wenn sie eine Reservierung haben, da z.B. die Parkplatzsituation in der Münchner Innenstadt immer problematisch ist und wir unseren Gästen hier entgegen kommen - leider kann ich nun nicht mehr einschätzen wann die Reservierung gekommen ist, aber die Angabe des Personals, das der Tisch für 50 Minuten frei ist, ist eine Option, die gegeben wird, ob der gast sie annimmt oder nicht können wir natürlich nicht beeinflussen - das nächste Mal bitte reservieren, dann sind alle glücklich :-D

Lovely place

The summer roll with hoisin sauce to start was light and filled with crunchy veg and a small piece of tofu.
The main, a soya schnitzel, was equally enjoyable; it came with fries and a small salad, and the schnitzel itself was topped with a delicious, creamy mushroom sauce.
The service was fast and polite, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Photos of pigs, cows, chickens, and other ‘farm’ animals with their names underneath was a really nice touch.

Nice restaurant, good choice!

It's a nice restaurant with varying menu, and a good range of choices. It's also busy, so booking in advance is recommended.

Unusually, it's also not very expensive. Munich prices are high in general, and adding the "veggie tax" often makes veggie places a little dear for what they offer. Here, however, prices are reasonable.
