Delicious Vegan Fine Dining - Edit
Being from Raleigh, NC I had never experienced a vegan fine dining restaurant. My mom and I were so impressed and ate every single bite. I would definitely come back if we ever visit SLC again.

A Special Place - Edit
Seasons is a special place. The place I take people from out of state to show how awesome the food is here. The place you go for special occasions. Home made pastas, raviolis and a rotating menu that is always stellar. The house made cheeses are excellent and the the arancini appetizer is one of my favorite appetizers in this city. The french onion soup is also incredible. My mom said it's the best she ever had! The desserts, like rotating flavor of cheese, are also awesome, though I missed the cannolis they had. I wish they would add a seitan dish because it would be incredible. We're are lucky to have such a special place in our city.

Used to love this place - Edit
I would frequent Seasons on work trips, but I have been eating cleaner for health reasons lately, and avoiding canola oil. I called them the week prior to leaving for a vacation, where my husband and I would be stopping through, to find out if they used canola oil. I was told that they use it in some sauces, but there were dishes that it wasn’t used in. I figured since it’s such an expensive Italian restaurant, most dishes would use olive oil. I also thought I’d be safe to get the Caesar salad, which I was really looking forward to, along with some sort of GF pasta dish. To my surprise, the only “dishes” that didn’t have canola oil were the GF garlic crostini (gluten free bread @ $5 for two slices), one salad (without the molasses dressing - we had to get oil and vinegar instead), and the roasted vegetable side dish. For two veggie sides, 2 sides of bread, and one salad split between us, the total was $36. We ended up going to Rawtopia to get dessert, filled with regret that we didn’t just eat dinner there too. If you’re health-conscious, know that canola oil is used here. For the price of the dishes here, one would think the quality of ingredients would be better. Instead, they’re charging premiums and using sub-par ingredients for such a fancy dining establishment. I understand that most restaurants use canola oil, but I expected more from Seasons.

Redemption!!!!! - Edit
Previous review....
Read moreThe extreme use of salt ruined what would have been the perfect meal. I couldn’t even eat the mushrooms in my pasta they were so salty they burned my tongue. Bummer because we were so looking forward to this restaurant.
New review! We tried this restraint again, we are please that we did. NOTHING was over salted. The dishes we so good I can’t even explain it. How that tiramisu is vegan is beyond my imagination.
5 stars all the way!
Pros: All vegan
Cons: Not a single one. Eat here! To die for!

Great appetizer, so-so entree - Edit
I was really looking forward to trying Seasons while in SLC. I ordered the cheese board as an appetizer and it was delicious. The flavors (pickled asparagus, olives, cherry tomatoes, smoked cheese, etc) worked well together. I ordered the tofu piccata for my entree. I was really looking forward to this since I used to love piccata in my pre-vegan days. What I got wasn’t what I was expecting. The tofu was served on top of garlic mashed potatoes (meh) and some grilled veggies. There was a yellow sauce that resembled mustard (was this supposed to be the lemon sauce?). What I really missed was the fresh, zingy, lemony flavor I remember. It all left a very strange taste in my mouth. I skipped dessert. I’d return for the cheese board but would not order tofu piccata again.

My Favorite in SLC - Edit
This place serves dinner only and is full of flavor. Food, music, and atmosphere are wonderful. Definitely more sophisticated than others. Excellent service. They used to have a dish called tofu piccata which was my favorite. I like the spaghetti dish which is not like a red sauce. The texture is rich and creamy. The stroganoff is also super rich and delicious. I'm always looking forward to dining here. We tend to dine here for special occasions or when we want to treat ourselves. Also, I like their cleaning practices. They use a spray bottle and cloth for tables, instead of the disgusting bucket o' bleach that many traditional restaurants like to use all day. If intimidated by the location, get over yourself. It's Salt Lake City.

Exceptional plant-based eats - Edit
I met up with a couple of non vegans at this place. It’s a nice place, higher end, clean and well decorated, suitable for special occasions and getting dressed up. The menu has lots of great choices, along with daily specials. All three of us ate very well and enjoyed absolutely everything.

EAT HERE RIGHT MEOW!!! - Edit
My husband I ate here while on vacation last week and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. I travel for work so I’ve eaten at vegan restaurants all Over the US. This place exceeded every expectation we had from the impeccable service to the perfectly seasoned food. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 2 entrees and both desserts. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Every dish was layered with flavors and I could genuinely taste the love and care that went into each and every one. I didn’t get a change to meet the chef but if I had, I would have offered my first born child as tribute. Our server, I believe his name was Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. You can’t have great food without great service and expect to survive so hats off for that! The host was also very friendly. If this place ever decides to branch out to other cities (hint *austin* hint) I’ll be your first investor.

Go! - Edit
I have been vegan for nearly thirty years and have eaten at countless vegan restaurants around the world, and this is one of the best! All ingredients are super fresh and (as far as it seemed) local. Some of the best vegan cheeses I’ve tasted, both on their own on a piece of bread or in the quattro fromaggio ravioli I ordered. Everything was mouth-wateringly good. And the service was great - friendly and knowledgeable.

This is what a vegan bistro should be. We travel quite a bit and only hit veg restaurants when we do so. This is one of my top 10 favs in the country. Fresh, flavorful vegan ingredients and the staff was excellent as well. My highest compliments to the owner. I wish you opened this place in my town.
