Okay, disappointing flavor

Was mentioned in recent Michelin reviews as an honorary restaurant. It was the only Indian place on the list. However, I thought the flavour was disappointing. I had the yellow daal, it was flavourless. Maybe the other dishes are okay? Staff admitted they cater to American tastes so if you want *some* decent spices then get spicey (I had medium spice). However, I doubt this will work as garlic and spices are usually not what is added when you order spicey. It usually is just capsicum.

Staff were nice and vegan friendly, it was a nice environment and I digged the Indian music videos.
