Great vegan fast food - Edit
I was always a fan of Seasoned Vegan’s uptown restaurant, so was happy to see that they have reopened a location downtown serving their signature vegan soul food. A small menu but the options are inventive, food is delicious and well-portioned. Quick service lives up to its name! Note that there is currently no seating, so this is a take out spot. I ordered the Craw Pretzel Boy but was too excited to eat it and forgot to take a photo. I hope that word gets out and Seasoned Vegan Real Quick has the success th deserves.

Read moreThe interior is crisp and clean, sporting the purple and green of the flower from its prize ingredient. We were helped by Cacau, a lovely Brazilian woman, who helped us with all our needs. The other nameless cook was also very helpful and smiley.
We started with the BBQ-baked Crawfish. The burdock root "meat" has a stringy, meaty texture and is smothered with a smokey BBQ sauce. The Mac was a little light on the cheese with a topping of scallions and breadcrumbs. The breadcrumbs added a needed texture but the scallions overpowered any taste they mixed with. The Pretzel Po'boy with the crispy, crunchy fried burdock on a toasted pretzel bun was a proper finale--a wonderful mix and match of texture and flavors.
Above all, this place is worth visiting for the vegan innovation. The burdock root is a welcome addition to the ever-changing vegan meat landscape!

This is a great place! We had the Harlem Chopped Cheeseburger, SV Nugget Sandwich, Freaking Good Fries, and Mac, plus a Sarsaparilla. All were excellent - seriously great flavours and good portions. Friendly people, cosy place, compostable cardboard packaging, good music, and we got a scratch card for money off next time. Very satisfied.

Amazing pretzel sandwich’s - Edit
Came here right when they opened. I got the Po Boy sandwich and my mom got the cheese burger. We both housed our food in less than 5 minutes (she is not vegan). It was fast and delicious. I highly recommend eating here. The staff was nice and helpful.

I was so hungry but I waited to get home and eat this deliciousness. The pretzel boy crawdads are amazing. Loved the collards. Next time I’ll try the french fries. This is not health food but comfort food the way it’s meant to be when you need it.

Chef Tony was extremely kind, offered me samples of the two types of craw and the nuggets w/ their respective sauces. Went for the Craw Pretzel Boy combo with fries, it was great and plenty of food. There are a few tables inside, and it has a good vibe!

I'm not usually a big fan of these types of chains, but this site pleasantly surprised me. Although the screen service was a little confusing at first, we finally ordered the BBQ Craw Sandwich (yummy!) with Sweet Potato Souffle and a pretty decent Mac & Cheese. What I liked most about the place is the person who cooked for us, he was extremely kind, friendly and very fast despite being alone. We ate there and he made us feel very comfortable.

My favourite vegan takeout in the city. The worst thing about the place is trying to pick what to get. Today I went with the BBQ Craw on its own because I wanted more protein but I think it’s even more delicious in the sandwich!

I usually don't like vegan "comfort food" but everything here was so good I scarfed it all down. The bbq craw, the Harlem chopped cheese burger, the fried craw, collards. Two of us kept "sampling" what the other one ordered and suddenly it was all gone. Can't wait to go back.

Idk how they do it, but the bbq crawfish is juicier and more BBQ/grill tasting than before when they were in Harlem. It is unbelievably delicious. Also they brought the nugget sammich back! And fries! Popcorn style nuggets are here too—great for sharing.

This restaurant is run by the same folks who ran the (now defunct) well-known Harlem eatery. Whereas the Harlem restaurant was pricey, elegant, and slow, this is a hole-in-the-wall, good valued place with fast service. The food here is still really goo, however, just like the former uptown place. I had the BBQ "crawfish" sandwich and sampled the fried "crawfish" and lemon-crusted nuggets; they were very tasty.
