Beautiful, serene and delicious - Edit
This was a lovely quiet space to be in, and the view was amazing. Overwhelmed by choice, I wanted to try nearly everything on the menu! We were all really happy with our meals and drinks and wholeheartedly recommend Santosa.

worth the ride up to the restaurant, unfortunately doing renovations when I went so couldn’t sit up top and watch the sunset, but the menu was great and service was lovely.

Taking a taxi to this hidden gem was well worth it. The menu is interesting but not too large, so it seems the chef really masters every aspect of it.
Read moreI tried the cheese board, which was mind blowing. Different home made vegan cheeses combined with a marmelade, crackers and veggies. I wish I could have the recipies for this and bring them to my home town!
I also had the lasagna, which was tasty, filling and comforting. I also got to taste the squash spaghetti with a carbonara like sauce (according to the description). It is definitely not carbonara like, but the experience was nice nonetheless! The raw "noodles" were refreshing, the white sauce was creamy and tasty, and the mushrooms had a great taste and consistency and added a huge amount of umami to the otherwise very fresh feeling of the dish. Great balance with the crunchy noodles!
For dessert I shared the "blondie" peanut cake with ice cream. And I was in heaven.
Unfortunately they seem to have stopped doing the Saturday buffet, but they have not removed this option from their website. So don't expect going there for buffet.

You get to choose from both raw, semi-raw and cooked food. Everything looks so appetizing and what I had (cheese platter to share, lasagna and the blondie brownie) was excellent. The cheese platter was especially good, I highly recommend it!

I recommend going there, even if it is a bit out of the way (but only five minutes by taxi from the main street).
They no longer do the Saturday buffet, but I think that's quite okay given the many choices of the à la carte menu.

Es ist schwierig vegane Restaurants zu finden, mit solch einer schönen Atmosphäre. Restaurant ist etwas versteckt in einem Resort aber gut ausgeschildert und mit viel Parkmöglichkeiten für Roller. Das Essen war fantastisch und sehr kreativ. Auf jedenfall empfehlenswert für einen schönen Abend!

Come piatto principale la scelta è ricaduta sull’hamburger Maha di funghi e noci con il loro cashew cheddar che ci ha sorpreso per la complessità dei suoi sapori! Le patate arrosto al rosmarino che l’accompagnavano erano davvero un tocco di classe degno di uno chef italiano ;)
Qualche riga a parte se la merita il Cheesecake Nirvana! L’unico piatto a cui ci siamo ricordati di scattare una foto tra l’altro. Un dessert crudo fenomenale a base di lime e avocado che non ha niente da invidiare a qualsiasi cosa piena di zucchero e creme a base di soia che potreste trovare in altri posti.
Qui lo dico e lo ripeti si mangia sano, abbondante ed i sapori sono delicati e intensi per chi li sa apprezzare.
Abbiamo speso meno di 700 THB in due, ci siamo divisi tutti i piatti e ce ne andiamo via con la pancia piena, le papille gustative che urlano di felicità ed il cuore leggero per aver mangiato sano e molto bene al tempo stesso! Tra l’altro la colonna sonora della serata era musica di un gusto delizioso perfettamente all’altezza dell’eleganza del posto! Grazie mille Santosa, ci ricorderemo di quest’esperienza meravigliosa a lungo!! 🙏🏽😍🤗

The Ultimate Vegan Place - Edit
To die for. Lasagna. Mushroom Risotto. Veggie Sushi Roll. Lime Avocado cake. There may have been 1 or 2 other things: My husband an I over-ordered (although according to him, there is no such thing). He ate our left-over risotto for breakfast the next day. Beautiful atmosphere and great place to watch the sunset. I saw a previous review where the number of stairs were declared an issue, but there were only about 60 stairs so as long as you're not in a wheel chair, you should be able to access the restaurant just fine. Also, we didn't have the right change for our taxi driver and neither did the restaurant, so the restaurant actually spotted us the money before we actually ate there, something that I'd have never expected, but so appreciated. Please go visit this amazing find- you won't regret it!

I expected more based on the comments here. We ordered the lasagna which was nice, the shake is nice but expensive, we ordered the zucchini pasta which I liked and my husband didn't at all. We also ordered a cake with raspberries for dessert but it arrived very frozen and was barely edible. disappointing!

The food was unreal. I had the raw cashew nut pasta which was amazing. The peanut butter blondie was also great. The view even in the dark was too class. Only downside is their was no music/atmosphere. But definitely go just for the food.

Read moreHad the falafel bowl which was ok, but just felt like a few individual elements placed in a bowl to dip into the hummus. Needed some other elements or maybe a dressing to pull it all together. Fresh but all too simple, especially for the price.
The protein shake was pretty good but not worth the price either.
Was expecting good things from this place but left a little disappointed unfortunately.
