I liked that there were lots of savory pastries to choose from, but somehow it seemed kind of expensive, because, for example, in other restaurant I got a bigger potato omelette for a similar price.

It has lots of options, great for take away as well. We tried two quiches, one with spinach and one with zucchini - they were good but not great and not really hot just a bit warm with bits still cold. For take away we tried one 'ham and cheese' sandwich and one with avocado, the avo one was definitely better, but to each their own. The bread was pretty dry and tasteless. We also tried two sweet items: a chocolate filled raspberry Berliner and a chocolate filled croissant - these were both delicious!

Great lunch spot! - Edit
I went here with my sister for lunch and had the poke bowl. It was delicious and so fresh! I also tried a latte and enjoyed it. I would recommend stopping here. It was busy when we were there and all the outdoor seating was occupied. There is quite a lot of indoor seating, too. The staff was very friendly.

In a lovely square with outside seating. Tortilla Española was fantastic and the spinach quiche was good as well. We split both and they made a nice pairing. We wrapped up breakfast with cappuccinos and a Nutella croissant. Five delicious items for 17 euro felt like a great deal. Would happily recommend and return again.

FAVORITE vegan breakfast/lunch/dinner(?) place! - Edit
Highly recommend! I was surprised: everything is vegan, all their pastries and savory options look so good, enough seating inside and outside on a nice little square. Toilet inside as well. Went for brunch and loved everything we had. You order at the counter and take it with you where ever you wanna sit. The 3 items were DELICIOUS and only €12 total so super affordable as well! Will definitely return to try all the other stuff. It looks like another place called The Vegan Corner is from the same owners since the food looks the same so we will go there as well!

When in Barcelona, we visit Santa Vegana (or it’s sister venue, Vegan Corner) pretty much every day for breakfast. We love the potato tortilla which comes with tomato bread, and the croissants, and the coffee hits the mark!
Read moreThey offer a range of sandwiches and tortillas, plus quiche, empanadas and croquettes, and we’ve been known to pop in for a generous glass of wine as a post-dinner night cap.
In the mornings, it’s often very busy during key visitor season, so be prepared to queue - it’s worth it, and the people here are so lovely!

Stopped in for a snack here and had the potato and the leek tortilla - it was reasonably priced, and came with pan con tomate which was a pleasant surprise. The tortilla was delicious, and even my non-vegan sister really enjoyed it. Was so nice to get to have some vegan traditional spanish food, and the atmosphere of the cafe was lovely! Definitely would recommend dropping in.

Our first morning we were in the Gothic Quarter looking for something to eat and the reviews were great so we headed to SV for breakfast.
Read moreEverything looked great but the food was underwhelming. We had a frittata which was the better option, a toasted baguette which didn’t have much filling and a tomato on bread which was average. It was all a bit bland unfortunately.
The sweet pastries and donuts looked great but we didn’t sample anything.
