Best burguer in Barcelona - Edit
I tried the Catalunya Burguer and it blew my mind. In addition their sandwiches and super affordable and tasty, perfect for a quick snack. I liked their service, they were very kind and the location is very special.

Ideal lunch spot! - Edit
Came here for a midafternoon lunch, greeted by a sweet cafe with pretty interiors and some places to sit outside in the courtyard. Lovely staff, super tasty tapas, gorgeous-looking sandwiches and pastries inside, and lovely wine. Will come back next time I'm in Barcelona for those sandwiches and pastries!

More attention needs to be given though.
On the pastry exposed in the shop there were many flies…
This I believe it’s not acceptable in a restaurant.

Perfect place for a vegan breakfast, the chocolate croissant was so good. It’s just like The Vegan Corner that is a few blocks away, but bigger and you can eat outside.

We came in here for a quick lunch whilst exploring the gothic quarter. The spinach and asparagus tortillas were both great and the chocolate and almond croissant was probably one of the best vegan croissants I’ve had.

We found this spot accidentally while walking around and we stocked up on pastries and got coffee. Can’t speak for the food, but the croissant and donuts were so so good! We ended coming back the next day for more!

Mediocre vegan cafe - Edit
I visited the cafe 2x with high hopes based on Happy Cow rating. Initially i went there with my family and they were not impressed. Then few months later i went there alone. To my surpise donuts and carrot cake were mediocre and tuna sandwich below average. The only advantage is its location and low price level

I had one of their cupcakes and their red velvet donut. The red velvet donut was very good, had a Nutella centre, and was topped with whipped cream and dried raspberry. It was really good. The cupcake tasted kind of weird, although the whipped cream on it was the best vegan whipped cream I’ve tried. I would try this place again.

I came across @santavegana_bcn while looking for a place to eat in the Gòtic area in the evening. They did not turn me down even though it was twenty minutes before it was closed.
Read moreI ate an Asian burger with shitake mushrooms and drank a nice flavored beer. The burger patty was very close to the meat form, if you like the meatballs in that form, you will love it, I don't like it much, but it tasted good.
On the way out, I saw the desserts and I bought an orange-filled cookie and a chocolate-filled croissant to go. The croissant was nice, I ate it with pleasure. There was anise flavor in the orange-filled cookie, so I couldn't eat it, it's too heavy for me.
I recommend you to go Santa Vegana.

In general good experience, nice staff, coffee, sweets and sandwiches - great. But my tart was a bit bland and dry, thats the only downside. But I will give them another chance for sure next time in Barcelona!
