Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe atmosphere with a green grocery section in front. Owner speaks very little English. Everything is made in-house. Could ask for vegan without fish/meat. One can see Himeji Castle from here, a 15-minute walk from Himeji station. Reported operating as of Oct 2016.

Traditional Vegetarian Japanese - Edit
The lunch menu is a set where you can pick between fish, beef, or tofu, we of course went with the tofu. Our set came with rice, soup, pickles, veggies, lightly grilled tofu, and for dessert an orange and green tea. It was a nice filling vegetarian meal after walking around the castle and garden all morning, if you enjoy simple and traditional Japanese I would recommend. The owner was very sweet and welcoming as well, she spoke little English and was very helpful.
Pros: Friendly staff, Good portion, Good price
Cons: No variety
