Great neighborhood joint - Edit
Hugh portions! Great service. Lots of options.
Read moreThis is mostly heavy, big food. We ate about 9 hours ago and walked 5 miles. So, we wanted BIG food.
Spinach/ artichoke dip was great. We both had sausage pasta.
For those of you eschewing oil, go for a wrap with mustard instead of aioli.
The wine was so so, but that’s not what their focus is.
A number of desserts.
Lots of breakfast choices.
Not get public transportation if you aren’t willing to walk.
Def recommend if you are hungry!
Pros: Portions, Options, Service
Cons: Lots of oil

Extensive vegan menu in classic diner - Edit
This is a busy diner restaurant with a TON of vegan options on a separate menu. It has a classic diner vibe, which we enjoyed. I ordered the loaded belgian waffle and my husband ordered the carriage special. Unfortunately we found that the tofu scramble was inedible. The rest of the carriage special was good. The waffle was okay but a little bland. We would go back again, but possibly try the lunch menu instead.

Good options and good prices - Edit
Looking for vegan friendly place to eat some good meals and came across this place and decided to give it a try.
Read moreThe place may not be most modernly decorated but it has its irresistible charm. The welcome was warm and on we were attended right away. The servers are very attentive. Got us coffee and it was hot to the point and perfect flavour. Ordered a Tofu Scramble platter and a Pancake platter.
The food came quickly and it was freshly prepared. The Vegan Breakfast wrap, was fully loaded with flavours. The tofu scramble a little less spice, but overall good.
The Vegan Fish (made from Palm Hearts) and Chips were OK. The Palm Hearts are just battered and fried straight from the can I guess. There needs to be some kind of artificial fish flavouring.
The service here is impeccable and can easily beat even the star restaurants I have been to. The food is very good and amazing vegan options. Would love to come back for lunch/dinner.

It’s a great spot when you’re looking for options with carnists. They have a huge vegan menu. The food is so-so. I’ve been twice now and wasn’t a big fan of anything but I was happy to have options with my family.
Read moreTofu scramble - edible but not good
Hashbrowns - very good
Sausage - I think they’re using Gardein so it’s good
Wrap - my husband liked it, I did not
Cheese pasta - not good
Meals with cheese are overall not very good, I’m not sure what brand they’re using but it’s odd.
What saves the food is the deserts. The carrot cake & the apple crumble are both great.

Worst service I’ve ever had - Edit
While I was excited to see the many vegan options on this menu, my food was mediocre at best. Cauliflower wings just tasted like breading and I didn’t care for the sauce. Wrap was just ok. Our server never came back to the table after delivering our food despite our many attempts to get her attention to ask for more water. Finally flagged down another server to order carrot cake, and she asked who our server was (there was only one other lady working, so I can only assume this question was meant to point out she was not our server). It took 18 minutes to get a carrot cake cupcake, which was delicious. My husband is not vegan, and he really enjoyed his fish and sweet potato fries. If you try to avoid meat substitutes, there are not many options. We were planning to go back for breakfast but after last night’s experience we passed.

Friendly Family-Style Restaurant - Edit
There was a separate vegan menu with plenty of vegan options! I was able to substitute tofu for Chick'N and vegan cheese on a salad, and the chef accommodated (it was delicious). Personally, I would appreciate more whole food vegan options as opposed to meat substitutes.

Tasty food, lot of options - Edit
There are different options for every daytime. Went here for a snack at lunch, came back for breakfast on next day.
Read moreOrdere Bacon Chickn Ranch wrap, added poutine instead of fries and cauliflower wings with buffalo sauce. Wings tasted good, super crunchy, lots of flavour. Wrap also tastes delicous. Poutine was good, they serve with homemade mushroom-gravy. (I prefer "the real"one).
For breakfast we took Chick'n Waffles and Cinnamon bun pancakes. Both so good!
Staff is heartwarming friendly!

The best! - Edit
So many options to choose from in an omnivore restaurant!! I loved the care and attention from the staff, they are amazing 🤩. The food was great! I tried the new fish and chips. My omnivore nephew was impressed with the flakiness and taste too. Truly a gem for vegans with an omnivore family.

The best place around! - Edit
I can’t give 5 stars because the app won’t let non-vegan places get 5 stars but this place is basically like a fully vegan restaurant. It has 2 pages of vegan menu. Whenever we’re in the area we always eat here. You won’t be disappointed!

Possibly my new favourite restaurant - Edit
I never thought I’d be able to have breakfast at a family-style restaurant, but this place made it possible. The vegan menu is extensive, the people are incredibly friendly, and the food is amazingly priced. Our server mentioned that her daughter designed the vegan menu, so shout out to her daughter for making dreams come true. My non-vegan boyfriend is very grateful to have a place where we can enjoy breakfast food together. We’ll definitely be regulars. ❤️

Eat at The Queens Coach! Don't waste your money at one of the touristy places on the Niagara strip. Go a little further and you will be rewarded with delicious food, extremely fair prices, and super friendly people. The vegan menu at the Queens Coach is huge (2 full pages right in the front of the menu!) and you'll have trouble deciding what to order. We got the vegan poutine to share among 3 people and barely made a dent in it. I split the cinnamon bun pancakes with my partner and we couldn't finish those either. I'm still thinking about those pancakes a week later because they were so delicious. My brother in law was able to finish his pasta but barely helped with the poutine. Bring your appetite!

Breakfast! - Edit
I'm always searching for vegan breakfast options. The waffle and pancake options here are great, I'd skip the tofu scramble unless you're using it as a protein vehicle with the focus on the other flavors as it's kinda just a soggy pile. Wonderful staff, fast paced atmosphere.

So many vegan options - Edit
This place was so good that my wife and I went back for breakfast. Her non-veg parents had a lot of options too. Staff is super knowledgeable about vegan options and everything was delicious. Gave me the feeling of family restaurants in the 90s and loved every bit of it. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious - Edit
So many vegan options - they even have a vegan section on the kids menu. Had vegan poutine and vegan tofu platter and was very pleased. Service was amazing. Kids vegan chocolate chip pancakes were delicious and generous portion (and inexpensive!). Over and beyond - let my son order one pancake and one piece of French toast from kids menu without extra charge. When I didn’t think it could get better, they gave the kids bubbles and lollipops. Highly recommend!

Oh my gosh, comfort food at its finest. Owner explained her daughter had had helped curate the menu, and what a fab job she's done! I enjoyed a range of appetizers. There's something for everyone. Fake meat options and more legume based options too. Fabulous price. An absolute must for vegans visiting the falls.

This cute diner has an extensive selection of vegan options, ranging from sweet and savory breakfast options to lunch and dinner. I had the chickn & waffles which were delicious. a HUGE menu - Edit
There are two pages of the menu dedicated to vegan options. Everything sounded delicious. I was here for breakfast and I got the rustic wrap with a side of home fries. The home fries were good, but a bit plain. The wrap was wonderful. With the tofu and sausage it was extremely filling, and the second half made a perfect lunch a few hours later! If it was possible to rate up to 5 stars I would give 4, but since a 4 would be “perfect” for a non vegan restaurant, the home fries just didn’t blow me away enough! But all in all, very good.
