We love this place! Everything we’ve had on the menu is great. My favorites are the cacio e pepe pasta from the regular menu, and the tagliatelle al funghi special. Also their bread and pizza crust are really tasty, and I recommend the zeppole with Nutella or the Nutella pizza for dessert.

My friend was just here recently and brought two kinds of pizzas to me. Here's my Redondo Beach Pura Vida review. He had the caesar salad and the eggplant parm (or something simliar) and said they tasted good. Gave me the pepperoni pizza and another one with arugula and some kind of cheeze. The first was all right, the second was just salty and not so tasty. I would want to try the other dishes next time rather than the pizzas.

Just eat here tonight and it blew my mind! I’ve had plenty of good vegan food, but this was next level! Had the linguine with oyster mushrooms that mimicked scallops insanely! The cheese on the pizza was so good; my son couldn’t believe it was vegan.

I visited the Redondo Beach location for Pura Vita today and they had a large outdoor patio built and nearly no one was there. Took my mom who eats meat and she LOVED it! We ordered the gluten-free option for everything.
Read moreI’m familiar with the food from the WEHO location. For some reason today every dish relied on heavy nutritional yeast to replace a cheese or cream flavor. I’m not a fan but could have been down with one dish heavy on the nutritional yeast but all three dishes tasted identical for that overused ingredient. Otherwise good food!

So happy this finally opened! Food was so good- has been years since going to Italian restaurant-and never one where I can order anything! Pizza covered in arugula! Mushrooms! Onions! Spicy pasta w Parmesan!
