Pastries are delicious - Edit
I have only eaten the pastries so far but they have all been amazing. The citrus scone was my favorite so far. And their coffee is a standout among the many coffee shops I have been to in Salt Lake City and Ogden. Love supporting the all vegan shops. You wouldn’t know they were vegan if you didn’t ask.

Impressed! - Edit
Such a cute space and the desserts are soooo good. I definitely recommend the French dip sandwich for lunch and you should definitely give the macarons a try. I left with $20 of sweet treats & am super happy about it 😜

Great pastries, so-so mains - Edit
The service here is very slow and your food comes out in an odd order, so I devoured all of my amazing almond croissant before my main dish came out of the kitchen. Maybe that’s why I was so disappointed with the quality and flavor of the benedict. Or maybe the high prices of the cooked dishes just made me expect something more.
Read moreI’ll definitely be back for more of the flaky and delicious pastries, but next time I’ll get lunch somewhere else first and hit Passion Flour for dessert only.
Pros: the almond croissant was outrageously good, good atmosphere , wide selection of baked goods
Cons: very expensive

an excellent place for a sweet breakfast - Edit
The place was very inviting and the food as pretty good. I didnt care for the ham and cheese because it had been there for a little while and just didn't taste right. If you're looking for an amazing fruit tart, then this is the place to go!

nice little vegan cafe - Edit
I ordered an almond croissant that was fantastic and then took away a chicken salad sandwich that was equally as awesome. Then a plane croissant that was a bit tough and very small for the price. Overall great place to hang and nibble .

Cozy spot with unique treats - Edit
How many vegan French patisseries exist anywhere?! SLC is certainly lucky to have Passion Flour. They put a lot of thought into the building itself, and successfully created a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for having a cup of tea and a croissant. When my non-veg foodie friend who spent a year in France tried Passion Flour, he was floored that someone could create such a buttery, flaky vegan version. I also love their tartines. It's a bit more expensive than some places in SLC, but I think they are totally reasonable prices for the quality of the food. The woman who owns Passion Flour is incredibly talented (check out their IG for photos of the wedding cakes she has made!), and she also gives back to the community. UARC members get a 10% discount at Passion Flour!

Vegan French Pastries!! - Edit
What more can I say. Go! The pastries I had were fresh (still warm) and very tasty. I ended up buying a box full of chocolate croissants and taking them to a business meeting. They got scarfed down immediately. Nobody had a clue they were vegan.

I went after lunch, and a bad experience down the street at sage cafe, and this place was amazing. The atmosphere and staff were refreshing and the chocolate croissant and iced latte were fantastic. I only had dessert, so I don't know about the lunch items, but I will definitely recommend to friends. Can't wait to come back!

just ok - Edit
I have been here a few times and I tried the ham and cheese croissant as well as the almond croissant. The ham and cheese was meh... the ham was dry and rubbery but the cheese (Chao) was good. The almond croissant was a little disappointing because of the gooey milky filling must have been sitting all day because it made my croissant soggy on the inside which felt like raw dough. The outside was crispy and beautifully browned but admittedly, I regretted my purchase and wished for a plain croissant. That being said, it is difficult to create the flakey layers in pastry dough so I understand the challenge may yield less than desired results. I also saw that there were several macarons in the display case that were broken, I hope they didn't try and sell those. I commend the bakery for the efforts but there seems to be some things that need to be worked out. I'm not trying to be a jerk and slam the only vegan French inspired pastry shop but $6.50 (tip not included) for a croissant is outrageous especially for what you get. I think it's definitely worth visiting but I'm not going to be a regular customer.

Hello!
Read moreI want to apologize for your experience and address some of your concerns. The smashed macarons are sold as "Smashcarons" which are sold at half the price, so rest assured, no one paid full price for them! The prices of our products reflect using 100% gmo-free and 98% organic ingredients. French pastries are very labor intensive as they take 3 days to fully make, and I like to make sure our employees are compensated for their time well. Our "Ham & Cheese" and Croissant Aux Amandes are our best sellers, so please send me an email address and I will get you both croissants on the house to make up for your experience.
Thank you for your feedback, as a new business, your input helps lead to Passion Flour's success.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious and pretty pastry - Edit
Really pretty atmosphere with the most delicious pastries. As a long time vegan, I cannot remember the last time I had a croissant. I tried the french horn, the fruit tart, and a "ham" and "cheese" croissant. They were all amazing in different ways, but I think my favorite was the fruit tart. It was delicious, beautiful, and I liked the chocolate that lined the crust. The croissant was flaky and buttery. The french horn reminded me of an eclair. I only wish I could have stayed in Salt Lake longer to try more! At least Salt Lake is easier to get to than Paris:) I have visited many places and Passion Flour Patisserie is unique and worth a visit.

Non-GMO, organic, and DELICIOUS. - Edit
This is a new establishment, and they are definitely booming! Right now the only gluten free options are the macaroons. Yes, the selection is small, but do remember they have a small staff and have only been open a handful of weeks. That matched with the large demand has probably made it a little rough to make new items as well.
Read moreThe price is a little high, however, keep in mind that this is A. a small, local, family owned business- B. gmo free and 98% organic- and C. full of time intensive products! (the croissants take 4 days to set) Jess works very hard to offer the best product she can, at fair prices. She also tries to source as much as possibly locally, which i admire.
and the taste! oh! i havent had anything i didnt like. She has a true talent, and her years in school can show. The baristas are all well trained, and they offer blue coppers roasts which are some of the best in salt lake.
I am a huge fan of this establishment and heartily recommend it to anyone!
Pros: taste, hours, employees are great!
Cons: ???, ???, nothing in my book
