Serves meat, vegan options available. Casual Venezuelan eatery with vegan arepas, tostones, and yuca fries. Ask which sauces are vegan. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-8:30pm.
I had the Impossible Meat Arepa with Fries. The food was delicious, wait was not too long, however the high price point ($14.00 per arepa) prevents me from coming back. I may be convinced to come back just for the yuca fries ($6.00)
I have never been in the restaurant, so my review only applies to the delivery food.
It is fast and it holds up to delivery nicely. The food is very tasty! There are a number of build-your-own dishes and you can get exactly what you want. I especially like the tostonbowl with vegan "meat", blackbeans, and avocado chunks. It's similar to creative vegan nachos. My omni friends usually enjoy whatever they get too.
I’ve never had arepas before so I’m not sure how these stack up, but I wanted to give this place a try. We got the vegan arepa (vegan meat and avocado) and a build your own arepa with vegan meat and black beans. I really liked the black beans especially. We were pretty disappointed in how few vegan options there are compared to how many meat and cheese options. They have no vegan empanadas and all of their sauces contain mayonnaise. Even though the arepas were good, they really could have used a special sauce. With so many good vegan eats in the area we probably won’t be back here very often unless they get more vegan options.
Delicious vegan arepa with impossible meat and a ton of guacamole! The tostones are also very good and the yuca frita was heavenly! Al their sauces contain mayonnaise, so I mixed veganaisse with curry powder at home and it was an excellent accompaniment. The arepa doesn’t need additional sauce.
