Pizza is sold out very early! - Edit
Three clearly labeled vegan dishes on the menu: risotto, pasta and pizza. Unfortunately all pizzas were sold out already when we got there at about 8 pm.
Read moreSo I had the pasta which was good but nothing special.
On the square where the restaurant is located there was a man playing music and there was a Charlie Chaplin silent-movie projected onto one of the walls. That was quite unique.
I strongly recommend making a reservation! And the food is quite expensive.

Lovely shady restaurant. I’ve ordered the mixed vegetables, but appears plenty of other choices and reasonable prices.

Very relaxed atmosphere - Edit
A very relaxed atmosphere with a few vegan options. They didn't have any pizzas left so had the pasta and risotto instead. To start we had the soup and some homemade chips which were nice. The pasta was simple but tasty and the risotto was deliciously creamy and full of flavour. The staff were very accommodating and even gave us a local shot when we paid.

Enough vegan dishes to choose from - Edit
Several menu categories have a vegan choice, we had no trouble at all making our choices. The vegan soup was a bit bland - shame, because it had potential. We put some of the chilli sauce that came with the chips in it, and were happy. The chips - homemade? Doubtful. They were identical to the industrial cut ones in our freezer at home - which we decided never to buy again. Having said that, it wasn't a bad meal. The risotto was good.

Very nice - Edit
The atmosphere was really lovely, and we loved that there was a vegan option for every type of dish. We tried the vegan pizza and the vegan pasta – both were super fresh and delicious. The service was also very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Vegan pizza uses real cheese - Edit
The waiter told me that the cheese used on the pizza isn't vegan, so he recommended the risotto which was lovely. Disappointed that they give out the wrong information but grateful for the nice waiter that told me otherwise.

I don’t think this was vegan cheese - Edit
The vegan pizza came out with a cheese that I just don’t believe was vegan. I checked with the waiter and he said it was vegan cheese but my friend tried it too and we were 98% convinced it was real cheese. Fully melted, browned in one or two spots, and stringy in a way I’ve never seen vegan cheese do. The waiter saw that I didn’t eat it but we were still charged in full.

Not a vegan pizza at all they use real cheese - Edit
Had a very disappointing experience here, i ordered the vegan pizza and checked and re checked the cheese was a vegan on and low and behold when the pizza came out it had real cheese on it. I mentioned it to the owner and he was trying to convince me the cheese was vegan and even brought out slices of real cheese and what he said was vegan cheese to compare it too and it really wasnt.
Read moreIt was the same cheese just sliced differently. I asked to see the packaging of the vegan cheese and they flat out refused and said they threw the packaging out.
To make matters worse there were several people on tables around me ordering the vegan cheese pizza some having the same issue and others not realising. Im adamant it was real cheese because of the texture and real cheese pull you get. Either that or its a vegan cheese ive never ever come across and I've had a lot over the years
i was charged in full and looking at the photos uploaded by users on here the pizza definitely wasnt a vegan for about half of them.

They had one vegan pizza which was quite oily but good! The setting outdoors was dreamy though and it’s a plane worth visiting. Good wines too!

Vegan pizza - Edit
I think the marketing of this place is wrong - there are signs that say “vegan restaurant” but it isn’t. They serve meat, with only approx 3 vegan options. I had the pizza and it was ok - far too salt in my opinion. No desserts on the menu. The courtyard setting was nice.

Has a few labeled vegan options. I had the pizza with vegan cheese and I enjoyed it. They also had vegan soup. Staff was friendly and has a cute, secluded outdoor dining area to escape the bustle.

Nice! - Edit
We didn't find it straight away with Google Maps in the small alleyways, but after walking in circles twice we managed. The restaurant has a very nice outdoor area and a small, cozy indoor area. The furnishings and menu look good. We had the vegan pizza, which we liked. The staff are Turkish and very friendly. An older gentleman also spoke fluent German and entertained us very nicely. There was a very tasty Turkish winter tea on the house!

Great spot, lovely staff - Edit
I had the vegan pizza and thought it was yummy. Stonebaked base and lots of toppings. Vegan cheese is never great, so I just ignored it and was happy that I could have a filling and tasty meal. The staff were so lovely and the setting around the tree is lovely. I will be going back to try the other options.

A memorable experience - Edit
After finding this restaurant on Happy Cow, we were pleasantly surprised to find such a unique courtyard dining experience with a musician playing the cello. Our waiter was fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. We ordered pizza, risotto, chips and the soup. My partner loved the risotto and soup but I found the vegan pizza to be a bit disappointing for the price, even though I appreciate the effort with vegan cheese on it. All in all a very enjoyable experience, I have given it four stars because the setting was so nice.

Good pizza and fantastic service - Edit
Our visit to Ombra Caffe and Lounge bar was truly enjoyable. The restaurant has plenty of seating, so finding a spot is never a problem. It's tucked away in a quiet backstreet and plaza of the Old Town, offering a peaceful escape from the usual hustle and bustle.
Read moreWe stopped by for a vegan pizza, which featured a fluffy crust, flavorful tomato sauce, and surprisingly good vegan cheese. We also had a Greek salad, which they thoughtfully prepared without cheese, and noted that they offer a vegan risotto as well. The salad was fresh and crisp, making it a delicious complement to the pizza.
The highlight of our visit was the fantastic service we received.m by Mustafa and Erdal. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more memorable. Overall, Ombra is a great spot, and I highly recommend it for its excellent food, serene location, and outstanding service.

Decent pizza - Edit
Ombra is in a great location in the old town of Kotor. They have several vegan dishes. I tried the vegan pizza. I liked the vegan cheese they use for this. The dough was not like in Italy, but still a good option and a filling meal in nice atmosphere.

Incredible vegan pizza - Edit
I’m verrrry fussy with pizza but this one was top 3 vegan pizzas I’ve ever had (and I’ve had many). Husband didn’t enjoy the burger because it was advertised as vegan “meat” burger, and it was mashed veg. Understand his disappointment but I actually thought it was lovely.

A must visit in Kotor - Edit
Probably the best option for vegans in town. The restaurant is beautiful, the menu has four decent vegan options clearly labeled, and the food is delicious. I had the vegan pizza and was positively surprised. The dough was really tasty, not too thin, but not too thick. The vegan cheese was impressive, so good! And the veggies were just perfectly cooked and seasoned. Also, it was the right size for an individual pizza, and the price was fair. Definitely recommended!
