Read moreI asked about the vegan flavours, the person told me it was only dark chocolate and sorbets. She did not tell me the pistachio one was vegan and she did not tell me about any peanut or almond flavours, contrary to what others reviewers have written about.
So I had chocolate and cherry/banana. I must say chocolate was absolutely delicious!
4€ for 2 flavours 2€ for the vegan cone. So it's quite expansive.
Pros: Dark chocolate flavour
Cons: Vegan cone is 2€, Vegan options not indicated, Not many options other than sorbets

Best gelato we had on our trip - Edit
This was a delicious treat as we strolled through the old town! We ordered the salted pistachio and chocolate gelato; both flavors were absolutely delicious. The entire shop was GF including cones, and they offered a variety of vegan options (including the cones). The staff was friendly and helpful.

Best vegan gelato in Kotor - Edit
Asked which flavours were vegan and there were lots! All the fruit flavours, as well as a handful of non sorbets. They said a small is two scoops, which was 4 euros. I got pistachio, and hazelnut and almond, these were so creamy and delicious! I also tried my boyfriend's dark chocolate which was very yummy also.

So many vegan options, just ask! All the fruit ones are vegan plus salted pistachio, chocolate, chocolate orange & coconut and maybe some others/specials! Stayed in Kotor a week and visited every day

Lovely but not clearly marked? - Edit
I don’t know if I missed something here but contrary to other reviews I didn’t see any menu that had what was vegan clearly marked. However the server was helpful and pointed them out. I had a cardboard tub with coconut and pistachio and it was really good.

I stayed in Kotor for eight days and visited Marshall's AT LEAST once per day. The owner, Velizar, is so helpful and passionate about the gelato. I went with a friend who is not vegan, so we tried at least 15 flavors combined. My favorites are the pistachio, banana cherry, and the lemon (especially in a cup with blueberry)! There are also vegan cones which are wrapped and clear of any cross-contamination. Plus, everything is gluten free including both styles of cones!!

Lovely location. Staff really helpful and offered samples to try. I had a pot with coconut and dark chocolate ice cream. I thought the coconut was really nice...but then I had the chocolate and my mind was blown. Seriously the best vegan ice cream I have ever had.

Unlike any of the other ice cream options elsewhere – the vegan options are insane! And not just fruit sorbet 👍 the pistachio specifically is amazing. Ended up bringing back four of my friends who all loved it too. Definitely worth a visit while in kotor

Several vegan flavours and some gluten-free ones (all?). A small cup with one or two flavours cost EUR 3 (June 2024). I chose pistachio and coconut - both very well flavoured. Next time, I tried pomegranate (too tart for me) and mango (good). Our group kept returning to try all the vegan flavours. Several fruity ones. I must try the dark chocolate one next.

Great ice-cream, but portion size was a joke - Edit
The quality of the ice-cream is really good, I had pistacchio, dark chocolate and passion fruit. Unfortunately, they didn't fill the medium-sized cup decently and didn't weigh it (as opposed to other ice-cream-shops we had visited during our trip) and I got hardly more than my friend in the small-sized cup.... therefore, it was much much much too expensive!!!!

Making Gelato is an art form and these folks certainly know what they’re doing. Just talk to the owner and you’ll realise just how serious and passionate they are about it. You can’t fault that. All the fruity flavours are vegan friendly as is the dark chocolate and coconut (which I went for) Delicious and delicately flavoursome. I think I’ll go back tomorrow…
