Great Takoyaki! - Edit
We are vegan and allergic to gluten. Until now, there were no vegan takoyaki around Namba and Shinsaibashi stations. We had given up on trying the local cuisine, but we have found the one and only takoyaki.
Read moreIt was wonderful. We ordered the takoyaki plate and the 1500 yen kushikatsu, both of which are vegan and gluten-free. The takoyaki is made with soybeans instead of wheat flour, so it is very healthy and hearty. Drinks are only 200 yen and you can make your own. My friend was pleased with the wide variety of scotch and bourbon. Gluten free beer is also available for 200 yen. Highly recommended.

I was so excited to try vegan takoyaki and it was amazing. The place run by one woman which is amazing and it has such a cute vibe. Food is reasonably priced for what you get and the drinks r very cheap. Highly recommend:)))

Small venue with capacity for max 15 people and one lady running the whole show. I tried to book through Instagram DM, but we had to stand in line nonetheless, so I don't know if it matters to have a reservation or not.

FYI, this place isn't all vegan, as they serve some vegetarian items like non-vegan mayo and cheese.

We waited in line, we loved the meal, we were absolutely, completely, amazed by how hard the woman running the place works and how incredibly positive and friendly she was even though she was clearly doing 5,000 at once. A one woman show, pumping out tasty food to a line of people looking to try something new.

i’ve been traveling Japan for a while now and have not been able to find vegan takoyaki anywhere (which makes sense as tako literally means octopus). but then i was just mindlessly walking around in osaka when i stumbled upon this shop!!

I'll still give this place a 5* because the food was great and the owner is clearly very passionate and friendly, however... The place is pretty small, having to squeeze between other clients or sitting at a table with barely any leg space is less than ideal. Still make sure you stop by, you won't regret it!

No matter which item on the menu I chose, it was vegan.
The takoyaki was very tasty and I had another one.
There were many kinds of drinks to choose from and they were only 200 yen per drink.
I will definitely go there when I come to Osaka.

Order at the bar, wait to be called. Managed by one, but hospitality is honest, no fake smiles :).
You can get “takoyaki” (8pcs. for 680¥) with sauce or soy sauce, green onions or cheese (vegan/non vegan possible), cold tofu, edamame or chips (french fries). All the drinks are self-served for 200¥.
Everything was very tasty, definitely not my last visit!
Pros: Authentical “takoyaki” experience for vegans, Self-served drink corner (no need to wait), Friendly prices
Cons: Managed by one, waiting time can be longer.
