Disappointing

They were out of vegan cheese, out of tortilla chips and half of the menu.. The burritos were ok but really nothing special, was hoping for so much better.

Pros: Cheap food, all vegan

Cons: Lack of taste , Out of a lot of stuff in the menu, No guacamole

Not adequate

Used sister restaurant in Porto and liked food.
Ordered recommended quenca burrito. Burrito seemed nice but missing spicy sauce and "chips" were a few crisps on side of plate. Menu said: burrito
bebida
(a small cena of beer)
chips
Now, why would a few "chips" (crisps) /garnish get a mention on the menu... Only preparation = open a bag.

Very disappointing, I really liked the porto version and I walked quite a bit to find it having not eaten in about eight hours, so there wzs no lack of hunger delusion involved.

Pros: Vegan options.

Cons: A vegan burrito and small drink @ 6.50

Best burrito I’ve ever had

The burrito with chipotle sauce is honestly one of the best I’ve had. We also tried the quesadilla and the nachos - everything was vegan and very delicious.
The place is small but cosy and the staff was very nice

Pros: Everything is vegan, Delicious , Cheap

Cons: Not a lot of drink options (no sodas), Small staff - service takes a while , Needs more menu options

Hidden gem

This was a surprising pleasure up a hill in the middle of Portugal.

It's not easy to find, fairly out of the way from the other eateries in the area, but is worth the walk.

The food and surroundings are fairly basic if you're used to the more slick vegan offerings of a big city like London, but the food is tasty and great value, and the service is friendly and welcoming.

Overall this is an admirable attempt to bring vegan food to Coimbra.

Pros: 100% vegan! Great value

Cons: A bit out of the way

Overrated

We had dinner a Friday night. The place was empty (too bad). I was looking forward to have some good vegan food after reading the previous review but I was quite disappointed. Although the waitress was super nice and friendly the food was nothing special. The quesadilla was good. The nachos instead were floating in a yellow liquid which it was supposed to be cheese (I think). The burrito was ok. Not a fan of the sweet date pesto (but you can peak other options). Portions were normal.

Pros: very cheap, quick service

Cons: average food

A nice surprise

Small, simple, fast to serve and with meals fit for two, or someone with an appetite, for a fairly cheap price.

Great burritos just next to the University of Coimbra

This place has opened in the spot where Biafra Bambole used to be. It has great location just next to the University of Coimbra/Biblioteca Joanina, which is one of the main tourist attractions in Coimbra. It seems to be a place for locals, not for tourists, therefore the menu was only in Portuguese, but the staff was very helpful and translated it to us. They have two types of burritos - Frida (spicy) and Precious Nelson (mild, a bit sweet). We have tried both of them and both were very good! Portions are quite big and filling. I definitely recommend this place.

Pros: excellent food, good value, friendly staff
