Interesting vibe - Edit
I think it turns into a semi-club at night? It was kind of weird to eat dinner yelling over Lil Wayne, and there was something about all the photos of Drake's head floating around that also wasn't that appetising, but overall a pretty chill vibe and good food.

❤Large vegan brunch menu💚 - Edit
Vegan hollandaise on benedict was delicious and portion was big! Fried avocado, tofu "egg", english muffin, tomato, spinach. Non-greasy hash browns. Breakfast burrito looked big & yummy too: tofu scramble, tempeh bacon, etc inside, cashew queso, smothering sauce, cilantro outside. Super happy with first visit and will return soon...

Fun - Edit
No Bones! This place is yummy, I've been here twice. Once for late-night snacks and another time for brunch. I've been meat-free the majority of my life so its hard to compare my distant memories to what their plant-replacements are, all I know is that it's GOOD. Both times to looked like we would wait for a while but the service was pretty fast! Each time I went with a few other people who were happy to share, I would recommend this because you'll want to try everything!

Wow! - Edit
I loved it. I’d been to the location in Seattle, so when I saw there was one in Portland I was jazzed. It’s better than I remember! The drinks are SO good and have great variety. Who doesn’t like a cocktail with a flower in it? So fun. The food is very tasty and the ambiance is great. The Portland location is order at the bar. Great staff.

Fun All-Vegan Beach Bar - Edit
My fiancé and I heard rave reviews from our friends about this little spot so we were excited to try it. We weren’t super hungry so we split the beer battered avocado tacos.
Read moreTo be honest, I didn’t care for them but that is due to taste preference and not their execution. I don’t typically like smoky flavors and should have asked for the smoked chipotle aioli on the side. That said, their customer service was friendly and I enjoyed the overall experience. I would definitely give them another chance and would just order something different the next go-round.
Pros: they donate to nonprofits, cool atmosphere, friendly service
Cons: limited beer list, small-ish food menu

Very nice - Edit
Had the Amazeballs, Crab Cake Benedict and beer battered avacodo tacos. All of which was very, very tasty. Nice setting outside, was very busy, but to be expected with the high quality of the food. We came to Portland mainly for the food and this place did not disappoint, if we had more time would have tried one (or two) of everything.

So many options it was hard to choose. - Edit
I went to no bones for brunch. They have so many options that looked amazing and like nothing I have ever seen done vegan. I tried the huevos rancheros and the crab cake Benedict. They were both delicious and huge proportions. I also had a vegan Bloody Mary with was super tasty.

No bones is a tiki/Hawaiian style restaurant of sorts. They serve a cocktail menu with tiki drinks, and their decor brings in a lot of the fun elements of tiki bars.
Read moreThe food itself somewhat resembles what you might normally get at a tiki bar (wings, for example), but there is overall a lot of variety. You can get tacos, salad, mac and cheese balls, etc.
Everything is really excellent and portions are pretty large.

Come for Happy Hour! - Edit
We loved almost everything we ordered. Very pretty, & strong, adult beverages! 😍 The flautas, jackfruit tacos, nachos were all amazing. 😋 Everything tasted so fresh and we were so impressed with the sauces. Our party of five did not enjoy the fish and chips (tofu with seaweed?) or the crab cakes, and we wished they had a children’s menu with some affordable/plain/fun options. The environment was lively, servers friendly, and we would definitely return.

Island Vibe-Large Portions - Edit
I ordered the jackfruit nachos. Wow--huge portion. This was my first time eating jackfruit, and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was a bit dark for my taste, but the vibe was nice and the service friendly. I was hoping for a healthier option or two but vegan comfort food is the name of the game here. They have the vegan comfort food scene figured out--nailed it. Good place to take your non-vegan friends.
