Downtown Fredericton yoga studio with food and juice offering. All vegetarian menu includes salads, juices, soups, and vegan desserts. Reported closed to HappyCow June 2014.
Nirvana opened in 2011. It is a fresh, modern place that is almost entirely vegan. The menu is is relatively limited, but the smoothie I had was excellent and I later returned for a very fresh salad with felafels. It is attached to a yoga studio, but anyone is welcome just to eat and drink. The staff were friendly and happy to chat.
The atmosphere at Nirvana is really fun, it has a great decor but is pretty relaxed. The staff are super cheery and helpful and they absolutely love talking about the food with you.
The smoothies are delicious (although a little overpriced for the size). They have great soups and I definitely recommend the falafel and the kale chips.
The food is clean, fresh and healthy. If you're looking for a mounding plate of food for a low price this is not for you, but if you're looking for something that will fill you up without weighing you down then you owe it to yourself to drop by Nirvana.
Vegan, raw food - although there is some food that isn't raw, but they can tell you - that is REALLY good! No official menu, very friendly atmosphere, fresh organic food, answers to any questions, affordable prices - everything you need for an excellent meal :)
