We had the hungarian bean goulash soup which was really good and then we shared the Napfényes Lavish Platter for 2, it’s a big plate with many things but we didn’t loved it since it had too many fried thingd. Service was very friendly.

you can choose from several cakes (all vegan, some of them gluten free) and they make super good sandwiches! totally reccomend all of them to try!!

Great location just next to the train station. The place is somewhat of a cheap eatery, don't expect fancy and carefully crafted items, but they have vegan versions of traditional Hungarian stuff such as krémes.
Read moreThe taste of the desserts we tried wasn't great, though. What I liked was the sandwich I purchased as a take-away, therefore I really recommend the place for sandwiches. The staff were nice and English speaking, and prices quite affordable though not super cheap.

I went here two or three times during my stay. The sandwiches are great, and so are the pastries. I grabbed a few croissants and an Ischler for the road (and by the road I mean breakfast tomorrow and home).

Had a millefeuilles and a cinnamon roll, it tasted great! They offer authentic Hungarian desserts as well, and even brunch options. It's also really close to Nyugati, just a 5-minute-ish walk away

We arrived at lunch time not realising how busy the place was. When it was our turn to pick, we couldn't decide fast enough because there were so many options to choose from! Finally decided on some pastries and warm food from the kitchen, which was lovely. I really enjoyed the bulgur dish with a veggie stew and the mashed (blended?) corn with deep fried veggies. Simple, but effective. Tasty and affordable as well!

A lot of vegan cakes and sweets, as well as savory options (some also gf). Very warming staff and atmosphere! The only con is that they do not have coffee, but I can get why.

The staff is really helpful and nice and it was overall a fantastic experience we wished we could've had again. 100% must come if in Budapest.

The bakery located very close to the train station which is super convenient and there are many options for breakfast and lunch. The space is small but there are some tables to sit indoors. I tried vegetable quiche and a cake with poppy seeds and loved it!

They have a huge selection of savoury and sweet options, and also offer some packaged good like cookies, chocolates or meat substitutes. I had the schnitzel sandwich, which was solid. The trifle was simply amazing! Perfectly sweet and creamy with a bit of sourness from the fruit. Definetely recommend!

Tried 5 desserts from this place over the course of our vacation (2 not pictured because they got squished in transit). All were very good. They had a raspberry chocolate mouse cake which was my favorite - great balance of flavors. The Orange croissant was also delicious too. Can't go wrong picking a treat from this place!

Spent 2 nights in Budapest and made several visits to this wonderful bakery. We have never had vegan treats of this high quality in our hometown of Chicago, or other cities we have visited! Light, completely delicious, beautiful to look at - everything here is created with obvious love & pride. Four of us sampled the breads, pastry, and patisserie. The fruit-based tarts were generously filled with cherries, poppyseed, plums, raspberries. The staff is incredibly kind, and noticed we were return customers. I will be dreaming of this place for a long time😄I wish we had visited their other location at Ferenciek tere 2 for a full meal. Go, you will not be disappointed!

The cakes are amazing, some are gluten free and with xilitol. The bakery offers delicious sandwiches and salads too, sells vegan cheese, seitan etc. Lunch menus are available on weekdays (soup and main dish).
