Quite possibly the best vegan pancakes in the world. An absolute can’t miss visit when in Amsterdam. You can go the sweet route or the savory one with either choice being a total winner. Had the classic English Breakfast and Cotton Candy panckaes and both were jaw droppingly delicious. So much to love here, even carnivores would appreciate it.

The large, filling, tasty portions with lots of fresh ingredients are completely worth every penny. The classic stack had fresh fruit on top of and in between each pancake. With the sweetness of the fruit, the date syrup, and of course the sesame cotton candy, I didn't need to use one drop of the agave syrup provided on the table. The cotton candy was sweet, but not overly so. It didn't feel like eating candy for breakfast - it almost served as a nice palate cleanser between bites! I took a few bites of the English breakfast - excellent sausage and "eggs". Also very much enjoyed the chai latte, which isn't always easy to find vegan. The breakfast was so filling that I could have easily skipped lunch.

This place was our favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. We went there two times during our weekend in Amsterdam. The sweet and savory pancakes are both so delicious (we tried 4 different ones). My fav ones are the chocolate hazelnut stack and the pizza stack (don’t remember the name, it was the first savory one.

These are the fluffiest pancakes you can find in the Netherlands. The pancakes themselves are just a tad sweet, not too much. Toppings are deliciously sweet or savory, complimenting the pancakes really well. On busy days the pancakes are reheated in the oven. I don't mind this at all, because it doesnt impact the flavour in my opinion. It does give the pancakes a bit of a cakey consistency, but that is also pretty pleasant.

I was very excited to visit this place but the overall experience was a bit disappointing. The place feels a bit overdone and touristy. The pancakes themselves could be fluffier and more decadent in flavor. The pancakes also appeared to be pre prepared and not cooked to order which could explain the disappointing texture.
Read moreI tried the Dutch apple pie stack and the apple filling between the pancakes was refrigerator cold. The table has condiments for you to adjust the flavor as you wish but as a pancake place I would expect to have maple syrup, not the agave syrup on hand.

If i may i would like to answer to a couple of your comments that, in our opinion and the opinion and reviews from most of our guests ,is not true. Firstly as it appears in the photo that you shared you everyone can see how fluffy the pancakes are. Secondly regarding the flavour our guests can comment .As about the pre prepared i want to assure you that is not true and as you saw we have an open kitchen and everyone can see that we prepare the pancakes on the grill in front of everyone. About the feeling now we apologise if it was cold but as you maybe know everything is housemade and some products need fridge in order to keep them fresh. On the table , there is a basket with 4 main condiments. These are salt , pepper, green tabasco and agave syrup. The first 3 are there , not to adjust the flavour, but every person has different preferences regarding saltiness and spiciness . The 4th condiment , the agave syrup, is for the drinks and not for the pancakes. There is an option in the menu or you can ask our staff for maple syrup. I hope i informed you and i answered your comments and you are always welcome to come back and do our best for you.
